From my personal experience, I can say the following is that you need to have a lot of experience in trading, and if there is no experience, you can immediately merge everything and be left without money. And so I can say the best advice is to find an excellent teacher for yourself who will teach you how to trade correctly. And this will be the right decision to invest in knowledge, so that later you can trade on stock exchanges without any problems.

the two ways you mentioned are very easy to make money, getting bigger and easier profits of course in addition to having experience you must also have technical skills in trading. without having trading techniques then no one can find their profit.

In my opinion, when you first drop off, don't buy right away, but wait at least one day
because usually after going down the first stage even though the decline exceeds 20% he will go down again
after that we just buy it, if we do this when we sell it even though we don't
too high then it will avoid the risk of loss...

To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.

Personally I think that waiting for a dip is easier. It is a long-term strategy when you buy on drawdowns and then hold averaging your price on new dips. If such conservative strategy suits you, you can use it, but if you want to be an active trader, then you can try to buy on a bullish market.

But actually it is not always easy to guess a trend and judge when the end of the current hype, but this strategy is more profitable I think. Cool

I agree with that, it's more profitable as you can trade actively, and if you are really good, you can easily grow your capital since sometimes the hype stays longer and some coins will significantly grow that would give you a good return.

I know we have different strategies, we follow what we think is easy but on these two, both are really profitable if you know how to play the game in the right way.

without having trading techniques then no one can find their profit.
That's a general statement, and everyone really needs that in order to succeed.

I just waiting until the price will go down this is my strategy in trading and if it's go deeper I will buy more and then hold until the price will recover again. Riding with the hype is very risky to me because it will suddenly crash anytime so I prefer buying coins at the dip price.

For me, doing trading techniques with the two methods is the same as having risks, but in this case we need courage and a strong mentality, and be ready with all risks.
But I will be ready when the price drops for me to buy it.
The point is that all risks must always be understood very well if you have plunged into trading and investment, because all work always has its own risks in it, so it must always be understood very well before starting.

Actually, the two ways you mentioned are able to provide benefits for all traders, but are only obtained by traders who really believe in controlling the market. but in my experience I have benefited in trading because I only buy coins that are falling in price and resell them when they have a higher price than before

The market can be profitable at any time, it is all up to you on what you’re going to do. if you know the right time to invest and what to do at that time, then you are going to profit from it. Like people who are trading with the currency daily, they don’t care whether the market is going down or it is going up, they just keep analyzing the market and doing what they’re meant to do to profit through the little up and downs that the market will pass through.

So, it is mainly all about the way you want it, though we all know that it’s good to invest when the market dips, but even at that how sure are you that it has reached the lowest at that moment and won’t continue going down?

There is something very important about it you need to know,  if you wanna wait for market to dip before buying it simply means you are not trading but buying to hold. But what traders does it that; they buy at bull or bear this means your profits is between $1 to $10 and it mostly works out for me. As a trader you have to target your profit within the little time frame of your entry point.
It only does who want to hold for long term that wait for the market to go dip before the could buy and if the market recovers to there expected period then they sell.

Like I said in my previous post here, you can take advantage of both situations if you know what you are doing and willing to take a bit of risk.

When the market is Rising - your weapon is the asset at hand - sell it for fiat and get the profit,
When the market is Dropping - your weapon is the fiat at hand - buy asset and hold it.

This cycling is important. Now if you are just starting out, you have fiat only at hand. In which case it is logical to wait for a dip and buy and the dip. Dont forget that this is not similar to margin trading, which is a type of gambling. In spot trading, you have some asset at hand always.

If you want to trade for a short time, then 1 will be better. If some part is profit, you will sell. Then you will get some profit.

Again, if it is for your long time, then use 2. If you buy it and keep it in the reduced condition. When it will be very profitable to sell. Then your profit will increase.

I think everyone also knows how to trade for profit because it is a law of economics that must always be followed, namely by buying at the lowest price and selling at the highest price, as well as the pattern of holding in the long term where everyone will buy at a low price too and keep them in a safe place before they start releasing them again.

in the case of altcoins, the best option would be to buy when the price is too low, just for that the person does a technical analysis of bitcoin and then do a technical analysis of the altcoin that he wants to buy, if he realizes that he is in a good support zone where the currency it has a low price and has a trend reversal signal so the person can buy. a person can also buy when altcoin has good news, but it has to be news that makes a big impact on altcoin.
If you are talking about altcoins like ethereum and similar then this is a strategy that could work and could get you significant profits as one thing that people do not realize is that many times your profits are made at the moment you buy and not when you sell, however as we know the term altcoin is too general and just as there are great altcoins out there we also have many altcoins that are terrible, and as such a strategy like the one you are describing should never be used on them.

The two ways you mentioned seem to be a lot of novice traders do, it's the way I used to do when I just joined crypto trading. this is my experience.
at this time to make a profit in trading crypto is not enough in the ways you mentioned, but we must have technical trading and be able to understand the market to achieve the targets that have been planned. because I think a trader who consistently trades, of course he has many ways to get profit

Bitcoin- in bullish time

To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.

I myself doesn't do trade that often nor consistently like for daily basis because I'm still learning and doing dome research on how to trade without losing much.
But when I trade, I usually wait when the market dips then that's my time to buy and ride the bull until it recovers again to make profit out of it, sometimes the profit is not that much but it is still a gain for me rather than losing.

Sometimes, I see some professional traders riding the hype and make some huge profit. And I want to know how they calculate to win that much or is it just a pure luck. Still there's always a risk.

I like the idea, better to continue monitoring and position yourself when you have confidence to do the trade.
More likely, traders see every small or big opportunity when riding with the hypes.

I do trade sometimes as well, but more on small profits,
when I see market is moving and the coin is being discussed inside the forum.

Usually, working to point your position and set your target, stop-loss works
well just make sure you bring big nerve to in taking the risk.

What if i myself am only profitable in the short term while waiting for a bear market involving long term trading or if i am interested in investing. For most coins if you wait for the drop you can miss the opposite to profit or buy when the coin is dying. And in my opinion both can work well given the conditions. but it just depends on you being able to join at the right time. If you come late, you will lose more or join early, the stability of the project will not be sustainable so it is like a gamble, holding long or daily trading are equally risky.

For me, I will say that buy at the deep is much more better and profitable than riding with the hype. Reasons are if there be a hype in price of an asset and you don't join the hype at the initial time when the hype started, then there comes the late entering and a retardation in the price and here goes losses cause no one knows the price peak. But when the price is on the deep, no matter how low the deep is, when the price accelerate, there will always come the profit for all deep buyers. Though, there are people that enjoys riding the hype and making good profits out of it, it's just not my style.

Crypto trading experience in various ways.. Some are long term investments... Traders look at charts, trade short term..
Technical analysis using Bollinger bands, Elliot waves, and many other technicals. The more experience the lower the level of risk. Some waiting for market correction, Gain 5 or 10 percent profit.. Don't trade without knowledge, learn technical analysis.

I feel both are good and profitable but to know which is easier depends on the timing. but if you get into hype investment, i think in short time will get huge profit but high risk because it is inflated and when you want to sell high buy back low price and expect it to go up again original price very difficult . On the contrary, when investing in a long-term project, we can safely wait for the price to rise, then sell at a high price, then wait for a low price to buy back to continue making profits in the long term.
