I would seriously not recommend Guarda wallet at all. The reason being that it's not a simple process to backup the wallet and everytime you add a new coin to the wallet you have to back that coin's wallet upwhich means "creating a new backup". There's not just a single seed phrase in other words. not only that but the actual backup process produces an encrypted file that you can't even read unless you decrypt it which is another kind of pain in the ass/non-standard thing. In order to decrypt it, you have to use the https://guarda.com/utils/backup-decoder/ can you imagine putting your encrypted wallet onto their website so it can be decrypted?? no of course you wouldn't be stupid enough to do that right? so what yo uwould then need to do is download and install the backup decoder on your own machine from their github. but unless you're a bit savvy you wont know how to do that. and just imagine if their github went away and the only way to decode your wallet was by using their online decoder!  Shocked

i guess you could always load their online decoder and then disconnect from the internet and keep your fingers crossed. I never tried that.

Thank you again.
The Unstoppable Wallet is just for the Mobile and not Desktop Sad
I need a wallet that support both of the Desktop and Mobile and support multiple currencies.
As far as I understand, your idea is that you want to manage the same tokens on both mobile and desktop, which means you would be using the same private keys to access both wallets. I don't think this is a great idea. From a security perspective, it is even terrible because you essentially widen an attack surface by doing that. For example, if one of your devices is hacked, if either desktop or mobile is compromised, you will lose everything. Compare that to the situation when you have different keys for different wallets, in case you were hacked, you only lost half of what you had. Moreover, I am not aware of any reputable multicurrency wallet that has both desktop and mobile versions. Even if they exist, it doesn't mean their versions are equally secure, because the codebase is different anyway.

If I were in your shoes, I would generate two different sets of keys and imported them to wallets from different vendors. Also, I would keep physical backups of my keys separately in different locations.

...

In both Atomic and Guarda, you listed "high fees" as cons. Does this mean these wallets don't support custom fees?

Is there a reputable multicurrency desktop wallet that supports custom fees?

Im using Trust from my mobile and for multichain wallet on desktop, Im using both Atomic and Exodus wallet, both have great features, but lately I heard some bad experiences from users of Exodus so I just recommend Atomic for now as I did not encounter any issues for using it for almost 2 years now.

Is exodus iOS wallet ok? been using it for a month and haven't had any problems. Their btc onramp died but I only used it once. Onramp had oddly low fees... cheaper than coinbase or kraken.

I have also used Exodus for very small balances and till now, I haven't heard of any security issue with it.
Exodus gives you full control over you keys. Your seed phrase (or your private keys) can be used for recovering your fund in the case Exodus isn't accessible one day for any reason.

The problem is Exodus is close-source and there is no way to know whether your keys are stored on their server or or not.
Exodus may be a good option for keeping small funds and if can't use a hardware wallet for any reason. But I don't recommend it for huge balance.

Close source wallets can pose risks especially in the future, even they are not good for low amount, it can be a weapon some governments will later use to monitor what people are thinking to be noncustodial.

I have heard of many vulnerabilities before on this forum about Exodus wallet, this is the reason I did not consider to use it.

Customizable transaction fees?
It means you can be able to edit the fee. I am not using trsut wallet, I do not know if it the fee can be customized or not.

My experience is quite good with Guarda wallet. I've used the desktop version once in the past to receive an airdrop of a project hosted by the guarda company. This wallet also gives you the privkey and mnemonic phrases for each coin address so you can export the addresses to other wallets.

Unfortunately for bitcoin addresses, Guarda can only generate legacy addresses. Although they claim to be open source wallet on the main page, on the other hand they also state that the core code of the wallet is hidden because it is considered their intellectual property.

Guarda Wallet:

Cons -
1. High fees

This is actually not a pro, because you can only get AWC from buying it from the app. Swapping currencies doesn't give you any AWC, from my prior usage to it.

It also seems to have a bug that when swapping some currencies (specifically USDT), the amount still remains in your wallet even though it's already swapped - but its cleared if you receive USDT or whatever other currency it was, in a new transaction.

I will suggest trust wallet or coinomi wallets which are best suitable for mobile and desktop device.

Features of trust wallet:
Secured access
Multi coin support
Earn interest
Credit card exchange
Support DApps

Features of coinomi wallet
Its a non custodial wallet
It store private keys to your wallet on your device
SegWit support
No identity linking
No KYÇ
No ip
No transactions tracking
All these unique qualities makes it user friendly with secured security and privacy suitable for both desktop and mobile device

Hello,
Thank you.
Can Coinomi support all coins that the Trust Wallet supports?
The Trust Wallet need KYC?

Hello,
Can you look at https://www.coinomi.com/en/#features? The Zero fees feature is interested. Is it for exchanging coins too?

Coinomi support very many cryptocurrencies but I think trust wallet support few more.

The Trust Wallet need KYC?
It is noncustodial, it needs no kyc.

What zero fee feature? No wallet that is noncustodial that will have fee feature, only fee involved are transaction fee which are paid to miners. The exchange feature is third party, you can also exchange on trust wallet.

Coinomi supports way more in terms of coins, but since trust supports solana and dot chains, it would have more token supports comparatively.

I have not research more about the coin both wallet support but I noticed coinomi is a close source wallet which did not give me a thinking to make the research, but both wallets support many cryptocurrencies but I remembered a time I wanted to use USDT TRC20, I found it hard on coinomi, I later have to use trust wallet, trust wallet support many coins, in fact it support all the coins I wanted to hold when I was still holding altcoins.

I've used atomic wallet for two years already and I can say it's as good as trust wallet, I've even used both for some staking and they work fine just copy your keys to a secured location and you will be fine, I don't know much about guarda wallet I guess many aren't using the wallet
