Pineapple on pizza?

Have you guys ever tried pineapple on pizza? I tried it and i really liked it.
I know there will be many people who say its gross but i like the sweet flavour that it gives to the pizza.

I actually enjoy pineapples on my pizza as long as there's plenty of ham and bacon on top of it. 
If it's just the pineapples then I don't think it would impress me as much.

It’s not my first choice but sure, it does taste nice. I can definitely eat it together. My favourite is just standard margarita but I like most pizza to be honest.

There are so many possibilities with pineapple. It makes a great standalone topping, but it also tastes great with other pizza toppings . Ham and pineapple are the classic duo, although pineapple also pairs well with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, chicken, olives and more.

Well, I don't really like pizza with pineapple topping on it. And especially in my country there is also no pizza shop that provides toppings like that.

Normally I say you can eat everything on a pizza: pizza was invented as a leftover meal back in the days.
So yep, I tried it also. Its not my favorite thing on a pizza to be honest, but I love noodles on it... so that’s weird I know.

I like pineapple on my pizza, but I don't like it that much. I just like the color. I don't eat the actual fruit. However, this is my daughter’s favorite pizza ever. She likes that the pineapple isn't mushy.

Yeah, i have tried many times. I think grilled pineapple is the perfect combination on pizza. I really liked and my family also. However, eating pineapple is good for  health problems. Some users not like. This depends on their tastes.

In Argentina there's a very popular pizza flavor (many, actually) that has mozzarella, hearts of palm ("palmitos" in Spanish) and "golf" sauce (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salsa_golf). Some people consider it disgusting, I love it.

The crust is still savory, and so is the sauce and the cheese.
And, in any case, ancient pizza was made by Persians with cheese and dates. So who says a pizza has to be savory?

Haha I feelk like this is a question friendships ended over personally I do like pineapple on my pizza, mainly because I just like mixing in a sweet - especially fruity - component into savoury food. I also like curry that has fruit in it, I enjoy cranberries as a dip for Schnitzel (traditional in Austria), or a cheese platter with grapes and/or figs.

Totally agree with this! (Especially the Schnitzel part ) The combination of fruity/sweet and savoury tastes offers so many interesting and exciting possibilities. Apples and Pork for example, Mango and Curry, orange and chicken - the list goes on and on
But in the end I am not much of a pizza lover but I do like pineapple on it.

Hello! I would say I like the sweet and that hint of sourness pineapples provides within the pizza. The only kind of pizza that I know that has pineapple on it is Hawaiian pizza, the contrast of flavors the pineapple gives the Hawaiian flavored pizza is pretty much likeable in my opinion and from what I've experienced.
