What OP is trying to say is to be cautious and DYOR. It is a common practice in the crypto sphere whenever a project pumps then a lot of fake or copy projects come into existence. Not all are bad but some are meant only to scam new users. Therefore be cautious when investing in such projects.

I guess there is not much to learn about meme coins really. How a meme coin works actually doesn't matter at all. By the mere fact that a coin is called a meme coin, it is already an outright admission that it is a coin made for fun. In other words, it is a joke coin. I had one meme coin and its called kishu Inu. You are right these meme coins that are being spawn on the market are probably a dangerous one but we don't know those new coins will turn out. I don’t even have any single meme coin on my portfolio, not even Dogecoin itself, not to talk of SHIB. I just don’t like the idea of meme coins, although Dogecoin and SHIB seems to be doing really fine and SHIB has been increasing in value and even got added to Coinbase. However if you end up losing, then what is going to happen? What could you do when the price crashes so low that it never recovers again? I can second that meme-coins can be extremely dangerous for investors that are completely new to crypto and just saw the news that "GUY XX made 100.00$ profit with an investment of just 100$ into meme-coin XX". Then they just throw their money into a meme-coin that sounds similar to the one that had this pump and then their money is gone. I also think that this whole meme-coin wave is very harmful and dangeorus for the whole crypto space as it holds off serious investors from making their move into crypto. If someone who has not read the official Ann channel or didn't even go to their official chat, immediately copies the contract address of that message (without even realising that it was a message and not an Announcement channel), and buys the coins from that contract, is left no choice but to forget about his money because the scammer not only takes his (the victim's) coins but as he's the one with almost 100% liquidity, immediately dumps the coin's value and takes away all the money. I believe newbies are already aware of this memecoins stuff.  And you can easily tell that a coin is just a copy of another coins using online platforms like tokensniffer and etc. and they are all free. It will show whether the smart contract is just a copy of the other, and also if there are associated risk along with the contract. I really don't know how reliable these meme coins are, for years in 2017 I saw Doge only as a meme, I did not see him as a cryptocurrency, I also came to see her as the main currency and queen of the Dump and Pump, which there are many specialists who only look for these coins.

There are two types of meme coins circulating in the market today, firstly popular meme coins, such as Ethereum, Binance and Solana which have a positive trend and good movement in the market, the rest are just meme coins that we cannot invest in long term.
