Curious to know if anyone has bought a Blockstream Jade device yet? I see they actually have stock on their online store... priced ever so slightly higher than the "original" listed price of US$39.99... they're currently showing as US$45.99.
I didn't purchase it from Blockstream website and my suggestion is to better look for some generic M5Stack ESP32 device that can be found even cheaper than $45 and just load the Jade code if you want to test how it works.
I got one TTGO T-Display ESP32 device for less than $10 but I am to lazy to test it with Jade code and one more DIY project, so it's currently collecting dust for now.
Thing that I don't like with Jade is that Blockstream server is involved in operation to increase security (because there is no secure element) and I am seeing reports from people that it often shows timeout when you need to update firmware, etc.
Good thing is that it's open source, they recently added support or generic multisig and BIP39 passphrases, and you can get it with 10% discount if you use Liquid Tether to pay.
Jade is basically device that Blockstream made for their Liquid network tokens, because I think that ledger supports only L-BTC in combination with Blockstream Green.
I would skip Jade if you don't use Liquid network, and go for other open source hardware wallets.
