Ira says Dave never mentioned much about bitcoin, except once at Thanksgiving 2009, when Ira says Dave told him he was working on "making his own money." Dave explained it was digital money and that he was working with a rich foreign guy.

Dave allegedly scribbled the bitcoin logo on the back of a card to show his brother. After Dave's death, Ira emailed Craig and told him about this. He said he had told Dave he should partner with this foreign guy but was met with a blank look.

I'm not sure how the guy comes to the conclusion, Dave scribbled a "B with lines through it" instead of Bolados thread, where she writes: "scribbled the bitcoin logo on the back of a card to show his brother", but if this is true this lie is a good indicator of a team up.

If Ira wins this case, CSW will owe half of "his" 1 Mio Bitcoins to Ira, which means that CSW must be Satoshi Nakamoto, who unfortunately lost access to his wallets and therefore can not pay his debt ... ever. Ira will be a super rich man without actually "having" the 500000 Bitcoins. I don't know how many % people are going to lend on that claim, but he can certainly extract a few million with it.

Both win: CSW can call himself Satoshi Nakamoto and is assfull of debt and Ira is probably the richest poor guy on earth.

It's just my speculation but with this circus show trial they could both gain something, Ira would get money from Faketoshi and indirectly they would both agree that CSW is Satoshi and get media attention.
All that CSW wants is that other people think he is Satoshi so he could pump his bsv shitcoin as a real and better version of bitcoin.

Can someone explain how Ira would get super rich by not getting bitcoins? Or is it simply about a potential deal Craig and Ira can strike outside the court? I honestly thought that the court obliged CSW to provide half of bitcoins to Ira years ago, and then there was this Tulip trust legend that was supposed to end right before Covid started. I don't understand why it's still stalled. I don't trust either Ira or Craig, so it might be that Ira's lying, but since the story is about 2009, and the DC logo is from 2008, it is possible that the new logo was already conceived by nearly the end (November 25 is the Thanksgiving Day) of 2009.

For those who have taken the time to go through the history of fake prophets in Bitcoin, the malicious lies from Faketoshi, investigations into his fake degrees and the contrast between the Satoshi's communications and Faketoshi's ear-bleed sentences; It is amply clear that CSW is a petty man with a huge ego and a bank balance enough to engage all sorts of lawyers and courts.

The way evidence gets twisted in these court hearings and the courts allow these idiots to misuse law to prop up his claims, all of this just shows what a circus the normal world and its "rules, regulations and court of laws" are, compared to crypto. Signed messages from addresses that Faketoshi claimed as his own in the Tulip fund case have said that CSW is not Satoshi. Nobody seems to mind these slips and the courts just keep accepting the excuses portrayed by his lawyers.

It only goes to show the true nature of power and justice in this world and our society. If you have money, you are the law.

So we get ahead of it.  Anyone in the community who is prominent on social media needs to start going on record now, stating that whatever the outcome of the case, we do not recognise this lying sack of excrement as the creator of Bitcoin.  If anyone has any connections with mainstream media, use them now.  Tell the world that this slimy conman is an absolute fraud.  The laws of mathematics are infinitely more reliable than the laws of man at proving that fact.

This has been a suspicion ever since this whole case started, basically losing means winning for Wright, and even if the court is not interested in the fact whether he is Satoshi or not (which I find very dumb, because if they looked into it, the case would have been closed a long time ago), CWS will use it as an argument for his claim, and a lot of journalists and other writers who are not familiar with cryptocurrency will probably portray him as Satoshi because of this court case.

by this.. whats actually occuring is IRA and CSW are actually working together to fake proof they own bitcoin. and then at judgement ira just has to say "yes judge he paid me in private" and boom. the court is settled. under the false belief that CSW did have coin and transfers were made.

I also don't trust either Ira or Craig, not even any other liar who claims to be Satoshi, there have been dozens of scammers claiming to be Satoshi but they were all liars, no one will ever know the truth about Satoshi and I hope so, for a lot of Bitcoin fans Satoshi It's a beautiful icon that they don't wish to know so that it remains like a beautiful fantasy.
Going back to the case, it is clear that all they want is to get money and fame. Anyone who has some money can hire ten hypocritical lawyers who can provide dozens of fake evidence to prove the identity of the fake Satoshi, but in my opinion all this will not work.

Dude's really not giving up the fight of claiming that he's Satoshi. Also the statement on the logo is pretty absurd. The logo that we have today for bitcoin is designed here in Bitcointalk if I'm not mistaken, putting the statement as a lie and an obvious instruction from CSW to make it seem like CSW is telling the truth, and that his claims are supported by someone. Also, 2009? How can one remember such mundane things such as someone writing on a piece of paper and even remember exactly what was written on it?

Judge and jury can always choose to believe him in this case (for whatever reason), and this trial is not about identity of Satoshi Nakamoto but he can indirectly claim that other party confirmed he is.

Interesting thing that allegedly happened when trial started is some bad remarks from judge Beth Bloom how they are finally going to meet the famous inventor of Bitcoin, and that was not funny at all if true.
This is all happening in Miami, Florida so I am hoping people working there are bit more educated about Bitcoin history, due to mayor Francis Suarez.
