If you google a little bit, you will be able to find some articles online about the ROI of some games (such as Alien Worlds or Axie Infinity). Personally, I don't think it is worth it except if you get in the very beginning and continue playing it.

As of writing this, I read just few hours ago that Ubisoft had their NFT named "Digits". It is getting a lot of dislikes in Youtube though (not sure how they knew that there were a lot of dislikes). This is going bad for Ubisoft so far and with their community having concerns with their previous games, this is not going to end well so far.
