Today paraswap finally launched its own token called $psp, Over 20k active users are concerned, and a heavy filtering process was necessary to make sure PSP was allocated to users most relevant to ParaSwap’s vision

So that was the retroactive airdrop with the smallest number of eligible users, the criteria was crazy and just 20k out off 1.3 million get an airdrop worth of 14k$

The snapshot for the airdrop was taken on October 8, according to Benchemled.

When asked why only 20,000 users have been selected for the airdrop compared to 1.3 million addresses that have interacted with ParaSwap to date, Benchemled said the users were filtered based on their activity, specifically who used the platform “multiple times for the last six months (till October 8th).”

I like the statement that already created by paraswap founder. It being selected by how active such wallet to use paraswap since early launch of platform. that's why only 20k already eligible to receive airdrop.

It's not only airdrop hunters and passive users that received the paraswap airdrop. To be honest any future airdrop should be recognized by its activity in the platform.

It wasn't just about early users but the filtering was heavy, many other things like number of transactions, related address, volume, multiple chain and even the tokens swapped on the platform

Got it. Bunch of people have been wasting their time to trade on paraswap with the hope to get a small airdrop. It seems like so many people may have worked so hard to earn airdrop tokens.

There still some dex exchanges that face the same problem and i wonder how they will deal with airdrop hunters once they launch their tokens

They should have learned from this case. million participants but only less than 30k were eligible for airdrop. This will be also preventing people who use the service but didn't care about the long term growth of project. I have been seeing the possible upcoming dex airdrop and that's metamask token airdrop but it's still a rumor.

The first Dex airdrop was Uniswap exchange and everybody got reward those use uniswap exchange, swap, add pool, and the main hype staretd form uniswap exchange airdrop and day by day it has more popular,  everbody use all dex with high fee and they has rewarded, but maximum people is disappoint with paraswap becouse everybody hasn’t rewarded through using paraswap.

The problem is that currently there is arround 1 million adress connected to the platform and many of them just used the platform to get their selves qualified to the drop

I have never heard of paraswap before until i read about their airdrop everywhere on telegram yesterday and the day before that. It seems like a lot of people got the airdrop but i also read from a lot of people that used paraswap multiple times but still there wallet was not eligible to claim any airdrop. I never used paraswap before because i did not need to. I know that there are a lot of airdrop hunters out there, that are using every dex a  ouple times just in case that they will do an airdrop.

Sp, now we know the rules, guys. Sadly, I didn't manage to get anything from them. But I understand that there are too many bots and airdrop hunters nowadays and there should be some strict rules which help to avoid this unfair farming.

well , usually its a snapshot time , how to cheat the time frame ? , and probably its not same like uniswap , we know uniswap give 400 UNI to every elegible wallet , but this one must be different , which probably the more u trading, the more u get. If founder crazy enough ,he maybe included the specific thing like the wallet must be wallet who received UNI before or another.

Yeah right you are. It is not  same like Uniswap. But they created a airdrop and promote it for attract people to there exchange. But uniswap give a reword who was trade on Uniswap in past.

it must be like that to avoid the dumpers. So many of them didn't interested to use the platform but they wanna get only short term reward by doing some swaps in paraswap. The reward should be given to the community that actively using this swap service since the launch of paraswap. I like the way how paraswap CEO was thinking about that. Another swpa service should have implemented this as they must have given the reward to the real supporters. It must not be for the dumpers.

That was a wonderful airdrop. If you swap any thing in paraswap from eth protocol. you will be qualified for the airdrop . And you can get a big amount of paraswap generating token or coins. And the value will be very high.

LOL don't you read the requirements to be eligible to receive paraswap airdrop? it has so many requirements started from you must always use paraswap regularly and many more. It seems like you didn't even watch it and you were writing your post without having knowledge about that. Your post was wrong and the requirement is not just swapping. That's why only 20k+ addresses were eligible for this airdrop

in fact this is the final purpose of an airdrop to advertise the platform and encourage its use by more and more users, i believe that the paraswap airdrop will be a great success like those of uniswap and 1inch, i did not know about this airdrop i hope to be still in time

Really, not everyone that started using Paraswap recently did it for the airdrop. I started using Paraswap recently before the are drop was announced because the coins I wanted to swap were there and someone in the TG group posted their link there. Even though I didn't get any airdrop after the exercise, I did understand why that happen from the publication from the team which I believe was fair too because lots of people used it for the purpose, and some that didn't fall victim to that. I don't think it's wise for the DEX to always announce if such airdrops will be happening so that new people don't clog the system.

Wow, never heard of this DEX even though it has been there for a long time now and I guess the team effort to filter those who just want to airdrop during the last minute is surely a good move. Hoping those dedicated users who really used the platform for a long time now will get thousands of dollars, that's huge. What a life changing airdrop.

That make sense than simply using the protocol for such a drop. They did a good job there, rewarding users that actually used their protocol. I didn't get this drop but the criteria their set is really good. Those who are complaining can't say such a thing why they didn't received even they used it. Well, I am also regretting not to participate but my opinion on this is that they did a good job for that retroactive airdrop.

Usually they talk about airdrop after finish snapshot and not body know about how many coin earn before distribution begin, but Paraswap ever notice about their airdrop but not exact date when distribution begin and how many coin allocated, but I see Pparaswap airdrop faced many problem with several member not received yet although ever make transaction on paraswap before 8th October, still do not know about which one rule not allow by them.

They already made criteria and every one can see on their official twitter link . Regret i am unlucky i have done 3 transaction on 06 October and not eligible for airdrop. Those addresses whose trading volume greater than 5000 will get more tokens.

Ever you make transaction on dex paraswap before 8th October? if you active there before deadline snapshot you will eligable and earn almost 14k$ when first price listing. I don't know right now because paraswap coin have listing on many cex global exchange like mexc and kucoin. Every one make transaction on Paraswap before 8th October will received paraswap coin and you not lucky maybe because not any transaction there,
