Is the meme coin still worth holding

I am not holding any other meme coins except Shiba Inu. I have bought a little amount of Shib for the long term. I will hold it for 2-3 years, I am sure I will get good profit with it.

Other meme coins are useless many have scammed people and run away.

Holding shib for years? Holding meme coins for long term? That is rediculous. Meme coins are like fashion. One year and they are old and worthless. They are like new iphone. Everyone needs it on a release date, and probably 3-6 months after. Then new iphone is announced, everyone gets it and sell old for 60-75% of its value.

Could you convince me that holding shib is smart? Why would its value increase? If you have bought little, why do you expect “good profit”? With little, the maximum you could get is “not much”.

Definitely, that's a terrible idea to hold a meme coin for long term, hype does not happen all the time, it's only for the short term and in order for a certain coin to succeed in the future, it has to have a good utility which I don't see Shiba has that kind.

Lol, doge coin is a "very" strong project? Do you even know what dogecoin is and what it does? Or are you just one of those investors that invest just because it is currently trending and it "might" make you rich. Dogecoin isn't a very "strong" project. In fact it is nothing. It is just a meme coin with no real/actual use case. You are just holding it because "Elon Musk" supports it, this explain everything. You know nothing about that coin. I would suggest you to learn more about doge coin and then decide if you should still be holding it or not. There are other coins out there that is much better than dogecoin and has very good potential.

Well, the price of dogecoin is low right now, but it might get back quicker than other altcoins, as dogecoin is more familiar to people. When scrolling a list of trading pair, among everything else, I am sure traders will pay attention to dogecoin. When recovery starts, dogecoin will gain its price back quicker then any other altcoin from top50-9999 imho. But ! That does not mean that dogecoin is the best altcoin for investment or holding.

Regardless of what coin you are holding the risk is always present, even bitcoin but the meme coin is considered as a very high-risk investment.

I agreed that there's no single altcoin which is out of risk but is that why,  we should stop investing & trading on crypto industry? People still investing while they knowing, all is risky

I am not sure if meme coin is worth holding or not but just to be safe if you're not sure is to never hold it. If you really want to take the risk then why not hold meme coin that you want. Do you think the price of bitcoin is now on the lowest, it will not go below this rate? If it goes below then the price of maximum altcoin will go below including the meme coins. So, you can't tell it is the best time to buy memecoin or altcoin as now the price of bitcoin is low.

i agree, its not really reliable when it comes investment because they are made for hypes only wherein without fomo and big influencer they are nothing.  So stay away from it @OP if you're plan is for long term just to have a good return because to be honest memes hypes always didn't last long and suddenly plunges back to the dip without any specific information, must be smart enough and always make research if you want to find some gems mate that's what we can suggest for your safety..
