In time do you guys think that SOL will overtake ETH in market cap?

It's too early to say the thing like this. Sol can't even overtake BSC as the third largest cryptocurrency based on the market capitalization. It's impossible for solana to overtake ethereum's position. That can be known  from just comparing the marketcap between sol and ethereum.

Why or why not in your opinion? Does SOL have more potential/ room to grow ?

Sol has more room to grow but the question is will it happen? I will try to remind you with some old projects like antshares, ADA and EOS even lisk. These projects have been thinking they could surpass and replace ethereum easily and then they are garbage project at this time except DOT even if this platform didn't have actual product to be used by its users and hodlers

solana won't be able to overtake ethereum, just see how ethereum trades on the market, it's only 4600$ per coin. solana is not worth more than 235$ per coin.!!!solana's price will always be less than ethereum's price because Ethereum is the most popular cryptocurrency with an all-time high of $4900 per coin in this month.!!!!Most people think that solana will be able to overtake this currency, but they are wrong because solanas price does not even come close to what Ethereum has already obtained economically.

Although Solana is considered the Ethereum killer due to its various advantages, Solana has not been able to overtake Ethereum in terms of marketcap, Solana took a long time for that.

it's true that bnb hasn't been take over by solana yet so it's very unlikely that solana will be able to take over ethereum. bsc is the lite version of ethereum, bnb is like blocking potential crypto tokens that want to take over ethereum.
