Better use your own deposit to make  bets. Those free bets will have insane rollover that will be almost impossible to achieve. Make sure you read their terms and condition of those free bets. A gambling platform will not allow you to just deposit money without betting on anything. That 0.001 BTC that you deposit on the casino will have to be rolled over first. Back then it was possible as I used to do the same strategy when I have a bit of balance stuck at a casino but like what Pmalek said, most gambling sites already have a rollover so you're expected to play the deposited amount.
