Polygon (MATIC) to $20?

Far from now, but who knows, the market is still down and the current value is way far from that huge target. The important thing for now is the development and how the team is still working with the usages.

The more established the project, the better for the future. The actual value will be realized
once the usages are being maximized and with how the team will market the project to
the end users.

It's all about utility instead of the price. There are so many projects that are driven by hype instead of what real use cases they can provide to the world. That's why many of them fail in the long run. But I don't think the same will happen with Polygon, especially when there's a dedicated development team making sure it's a useful alternative to the existing ETH blockchain.

For just a short amount of time since its inception, Polygon has managed to attract quite a respectable number of businesses, companies  and investors alike. Disney, Coca Cola, and a few other companies are issuing NFTs on the Polygon blockchain. It should only be a matter of time before MATIC goes all the way to the double digits. What needs to happen is for the whole crypto market to turn bullish, and MATIC would go all the way to the moon in an instant. Who knows if someday $20 per coin becomes a reality? Just my opinion

Yeah, that's what they say, and I'm doing that, but I should have just held MATIC instead. My biggest bag is MATIC, which is why I'm not broke right now.

As for me, I'm also waiting, but I'm always curious to see what other people are looking at.

Among those, Matic stands out as the best. DCA'ing into matic, all other stuff is trash. In the midst of a free fall in traditional markets, quality projects just continue to rip, but I will never be able to settle down permanently. Change is always welcome since there are a lot of things to happen.

It is true and many believe that Matic is one of the potential altcoins in the future because Matic's network is also fairly good.
I have also benefited several times from trading Matic coins and the price is relatively stable compared to other altcoins. While trading on Matic, I have never experienced a loss due to a deep drop in prices.
So I think going forward in the long term Matic is one crypto coin that deserves and has potential.

The Matic coin has the potential to reach $20, but I doubt to say that Matic will reach that price within a year, as currently many investors prefer to invest in the SOL network coin over the Polygon network coin, so it will take much longer for the Matic coins to $20.

You can check both of coins chart for the last 3 months then you will see how solana price decreasing. It is the next Axie Infinity if who investors planning to long hold. I am it holders for a months btw now migrated in the other coins.

We do have our own opinions in terms of our investment. If you see it that way, maybe those who are investing with Sol see the other side. They continue to believe that Sol will generate profits in the long run.

But like how you observe, it is also a good factor to work with how the market is behaving with your
assets. If you are not seeing any good movement in the time frame that you project, better to re-assess
and change your investment if it's already needed.

And someone in clear mind expect MATIC price to be 7 times higher? Then what is going to be Bitcoin or other top altcoin prices? We havent reached ATH, and dont forget about 4 year price cycles. Or someone really thinks that MATIC price will grow itself, across whole market? That is never going to happen. I will have a more believe that new blockchain will be released, that will take MATIC position, then MATIC price to reach $20.

actually at this time both of them experienced a very large decrease from their last ATH achievement, and solana indeed had a decrease of 94.6% and Matic 72.4%. it must be remembered that everything will repeat what has been done again to be able to increase or decrease, so it is possible that Matic with ATH $ 2.92 will be able to reach $ 20 if it will increase maybe 10x.
but if you compare Solana and Matic, Solana is clearly better because the price that will be presented is quite tempting and you can get a good profit.
so if you are still holding on to holding Solana it is clearly a wise move.

it's because we are still in bearish doesn't matter how good of a coin is, if the trend is bearish it could hardly increase in value, matic has shown some breakouts many times yet it just could go against the waves and increase in the middle of bearish, it always comes back to the trend again. I'm sure once the trend is changing its value could easily rise. there has been rumoured that matic has the flow of big invesments coming in to the coin yet that does nothing.

Polygon is so cheap and fast to use for "De-Fi". The sidechain has so much potential to take the world by storm. By taking the security of the main ETH blockchain, Polygon becomes a better choice than competing platforms like Binance Chain and Solana. Yet, the coin (MATIC) is trading below the double-digits. That's surprising to me, considering that the sidechain is quite convenient for day-to-day payments. If you compare fees on Polygon vs Binance Chain, you'll notice the former has the lowest gas fees. All Polygon needs is hype (mainstream demand) and it could soar all the way to the moon.

If the price is going as it was in early 2021, we would say $20 price per matic is possible. But now, people looking into certain factors such as current market cap, current circulating supply and fully diluted market cap at the present and the projected price before investing on a coin or token. Matic at $20/matic means the fully diluted market cap will run into $200B. I doubt that is attainable with the team buying back and born a very huge percentage of the total supply of which over 87% is now in circulation. I doubt any double digits price is attainable by matic in the next 2 years.

That's valid since we are still in the bearish season, the coin will have the hard time to pump as investors and traders will just simply sell what they've got if there's a pump that will be initiated.

We don't know when and how high Matic will be pump but the chance of having decent value
in the future is still positive, it's just a matter of understanding and trust regarding to coin
and how the developers will deliver in the next market bull run.

Polygon future is looking so glorious and I feel that 20$ is not big target for Matic. Once when matic was $2+ there was very high chances for Matic to hut 5$ but Market bad behavior let it calm down. We have seen many NFt and gaming Usecase for Matic. Low fee is another sticky point then investor will attract to hold it and add liquidity and used it for staking purpose. It is possible to reach 20$ before 2025.

Hitting $20 is really unrealistic and attaining this value could take more than that years. I would say that MATIC will surely hit $5 - $10 once the Bullrun or BTC spikes upward again, and if there is a new blockchain that will pop-up on the cryptomarket then it will be a game-changer and lots of competitors that will also depend on the trend like NFTs.

It's only been two years since I've last created this thread. Yet, MATIC's price has performed terribly bad during the course of 2022. You can thank the deteriorating global economy for that.

I believe this year won't be any different, especially when there's a lot of negativism surrounding the crypto/Blockchain space (FTX collapse, Terra/LUNA crash, etc). Just wait until the tide is over and MATIC could easily hit the "double digits". After all, renowned companies are launching NFTs on the Polygon blockchain (such as Coca-Cola, Disney, and even Donald Trump himself). These are signals of increasing adoption for the MATIC cryptocurrency. If you buy coins now, you could easily cash out big time once the bull market turns bullish again. Who knows if MATIC goes to $20 sometime in the future? Just my thoughts

If bitcoin goes to 100k or 200k why polygon going to $20 is crazy.  In bitcoin bullruns altcoins sometimes take a dramatic step up (and likewise on the way down).  Saying anything in usd is crazy is in fact....crazy!  If you told me before the last bullrun doge would even sniff $.01 people would have said you were crazy and look it blew that away.

maybe it's because bearish, honestly there are many coins that isn't having some rise like even eth and bnb, they just stuck same with matic.
even like that they have higher chance of rising that other coins in general because it's the one that has significant growth compared with other coins of the same niche.
even before beraish arrives, matic was about to break out and make some good increase but it was getting cancelled out quite literally by bearish and collapses of many platforms.

That is true, there are so many altcoins offering the same features to adopters that it becomes a big competition where no one is able to outstand among others at all, so ETH continues ruling the altcoins market. MATIC seems a solid altcoin, and might be a promise for the next bull run, although being realistic I wouldn't expect more than the price range it has already hit on the previous ATH, so there is a 300% profit potential ahead, while with bitcoin there is a 400% profit potential ahead to its previous ATH level. Considering this, I think Bitcoin is still a more reliable alternative, because the risks are lesser, while proportionating superior profit chance.
