Campaign/Bounty has its own rules for (managers) who run it to achieve a certain level of success.

Based on observations and investigations there are a few irregularities found in the campaign: Topic: [BOUNTY] SantaCoin.io | A Hyper Deflationary Coin | 4 Weeks / $15,000 in USDT!, especially on Twitter & Reddit, there are dozens of Alt accounts cheating on the campaign.

I created this topic specifically, based on my conversation with @Hhampuz (manager) Bounty SantaCoin.io on Alt account involvement in Bounty SantaCoin, such as the title of the topic in particular.

I'm stunned by your finding this time, it's pretty much YOSHIE. Just curious, how much time did you spend to find them ? LOL

In my opinion, there is no way to stop bounty cheat like this because the average guilty account is a rank newbie. They can easily leave their account and create another account by changing their Twitter, Telegram, and other usernames and returning to the campaign with a new account. This cycle will never stop, hopefully there will be many change in the future to prevent alt and alt cheating in social media bounty. POA also doesn't help much, cheater are really clever at hiding.

Those two statements seem to be contradicting each other--if there's no way to stop these bounty buttholes from cheating because they can create an unlimited number of alt accounts, then there's not much these projects can do to stop the abuse aside from requiring KYC in order to participate, and I seriously doubt that's ever going to happen.

Actually, I think there were some bounties that required KYC before payout and didn't announce that fact beforehand, but those cases were the exception and not the rule.  In any case, I agree with you that it's just way too easy to cheat by enrolling multiple alts in the same bounty, because all you need is to be at Newbie rank--and that isn't exactly hard to attain.

This reminds me of the myth of Sisyphus. A Greek who was condemned to climb a huge stone up a hill, and when he got to the top the stone fell back down and he had to start all over again.

I understand that cheating does not involve their activity on the forum but the activity on Twitter, Youtube etc., as newbies do not participate in the sig campaign since they cannot wear a signature.

I think it's an awesome job but I doubt there is any way to stop it if they can create potentially infinite new newbie accounts.

Well done OP.
I think that Hhampuz and other bounty managers should start hiring and paying YOSHIE and other members who are doing regular checks for cheating in campaigns.
Lot of time is invested in making reports, finding connections between different member addresses and social media accounts.

Those two statements seem to be contradicting each other--if there's no way to stop these bounty buttholes from cheating because they can create an unlimited number of alt accounts, then there's not much these projects can do to stop the abuse aside from requiring KYC in order to participate, and I seriously doubt that's ever going to happen.

Actually, I think there were some bounties that required KYC before payout and didn't announce that fact beforehand, but those cases were the exception and not the rule.  In any case, I agree with you that it's just way too easy to cheat by enrolling multiple alts in the same bounty, because all you need is to be at Newbie rank--and that isn't exactly hard to attain.

KYC may be one way to limit the number of cheaters in a bounty, but there are not many bounties and owners require participant to complete KYC unless their token or coin have a high price.

We all know that these scammers just join blindly on any bounty, not even that many of them do any analysis. After all, many projects are not seriously developed by their owners who just want to make a profit through sale before being scammed and abandoned. So in the end KYC is not needed by those who only expect free promotion from the participant.

Overall this behavior cannot be stopped completely. even though one of the accounts has been tagged (negative trust) or (banned), and in the following days they go wild, they blindly registering hundreds of new accounts with the same pattern and method. I think CM should implement KYC before payment is made, the goal is to narrow down the space for bounty cheat. When CM implements KYC, Bounty cheats will be overwhelmed preparing personal data to complete the KYC process. YOSHIE, I'm very flattered by the way you've removed the bounty cheats so far. There are dozens of account that you caught in just one bounty and you've spent a lot of time doing. The account deserves to be tagged but I don't think it will expire as newbie cheating will be so hard to stop.

This is a forum with free registration, they can register dozens of other account if there is no solution the manager consider to prevent cheating. If I could advise a manager, I would probably advise him to never again accept newbie in every campaign he manage. That would be much better than giving him multiple opportunities to cheat the campaign.
