Hello everyone! Recently, i was posting for a story of my grandmother who currently fighting with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). Which eventually leads to a schedule for bone marrow transplant just to help deal and remove the cancer cells.

With regards to this subject, i posted it and deleted also as it violate the certain rule of the forum.

Is it possible to sell my paintings to be able to raise fund for my grand mother operation?

If able, how?

You either:

1. Sell the physical paintings in the Marketplace section, or on social media
2. Controversial: sell them as NFTs on OpenSea

Take note that you're going to need to tell a really compelling story if you actually want people to be interested. You aren't going to get attention just by solely telling people that you're selling paintings to help your grandmother.

Of course you can. You can directly create a thread in Marketplace>Goods (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0) to list your paintings or do a collaboration to trusted member here to launch the sales for a cause to your paintings to attract more buyers that will buy it for a good amount of money. I highly suggest to contact minerjones, krogoth, Hhampuz, and other trusted member in collectible section to help you with the sales. Yes its possible. If someone also can help you with converting those painting to nft could be damn helpful. If the degens or crypto community there will be a cause for this, they will definitely buy in and save you some cash to help your grandmother though this kind of approach isn't being advertise since ti's quite confidential and conflict of interest.

I guess you can try and sell that NFT (because that's what it is now) over in the Digital Goods section of the marketplace. I think it doesn't fit into the Collectibles sub because it isn't a physical item.

On a different note, make sure you don't write multiple posts in a row. It's against the rules and the moderators will merge or delete such posts.

That complicates things a bit and we are moving towards something I don't know that much about in that case. If it's a unique physical item, you can open a thread in the Collectibles. But since it's both, I am not sure. Is it possible to purchase it in one form and not in both? For example, I only want the painting in physical form without the NFT or vice versa?

If it's possible to buy either one, my guess is that you could create separate threads in both those subs that I mentioned above. One for the digital item and the other for the physical collectible. Link the threads with one another. My advice is that you better wait for someone more experienced in this subject to respond.

Follow my advice above  so that you can sell it with greater premium. Its true that you can sell it easier via NFT but you can't sell it with a high premium price because no one will be interested for that on higher price. Focus on your goal here. You are selling your paintings to cover the expenses for your grandma hospitalization bill. You can only achieve that by selling it with high premium through fund raising. I saw a lot this selling for a cause in collectible section. Bitcointalk Community is very generous on things like this. Approach trusted member on collectible section and let them organized it for you. Just make sure that you have proof to back up your story.

I love my grandmother too and she already passed away few years ago due to fckin cancer that's why I really want to help you mate by suggesting a method that I know which will work.

Thank you for the comment Sir. Actually i watched on youtube on how is the possible way to create it without paying fees. I posted it in Rarible.com and via ETH wallet. I believe the fee will be shouldered by the buyer whenever it bought.

OP you can buy a copper membership so that you can post an image even if you are a newbie. But.
 Don't want to spend your money you can wait until you reach the rank that can post an image. But when I visit your profile you have 25 Activity which is 5 left to qualified to become a Jr.Member but you have not enough merit to reach that.

I'm also in favor of this advice. I guess minerjones is the man. Minerjones is the most most trusted person on the forum. He/she is both a re-shipper and an escrow. But my reservation is that OP will have to send the paintings to minerjones first before things could be set up. So, that will require OP to spend first before getting the funds that's needed for grandma's operation.

Forget about this as OP is trying to raise funds for his/her grandma's bone marrow transplant. He/she is definitely short of cash so I think he/she should be avoiding unnecessary expenses. I'm sure somebody who's got the rank would readily quote the image for him/her for everybody to easily view it.

Forget about the 30 activities.

Since you are in a really bad situation right now, just post the sale in the goods section, the price you're willing to sell it for, the place where you're shipping from, that you are willing to use an escrow for the transaction, and link of the image along with your username here and the present date.

Don't worry about the image not showing, I'm sure somebody would be willing to quote it for you so that everybody could see it. If none, just PM and I'll quote it for you.

In addition, by the way, please include the medium as well as the dimensions of the paintings. And please take the best shot of your paintings. If possible, take one shot for the whole and another for a close up, showing details. After all, whether your story about your grandmother is true or not, you are selling a piece of art here. So I guess even those who are skeptical of your story might still find your works of art worth buying.

There are many ways by which you can raise some funds for your grandmother and i hope she becomes well soon.The members have given you quite a ways though which you can sell your paintings and have some funds with you.

The rest of activity will be given to your account shortly as every two weeks of period it is given to the active users and then you will be junior member and you will be having remaining 5 activity with you so don't worry about the same and you will be able to post direct images yourself.

If you are some sort of artist then you can participate in art events on forum and win big amounts or sell your service here if you wish to do so.

The other way around is the marketplace of forum which is best and you can make the announcement thread in best way to gain more customers and then setup your price for the same and most probably you will sold all of them.
