In every covid variant, the markets are experiencing serious declines. Bitcoin went down when the Omicron variant came out, now it's a stagnation period and then bitcoin is going up. It's always been like that before, let's see if it will be the same this time. Now the omicron variant is spreading everywhere. I hope it ends soon.

I don't think no one smart enough would be basing their investment decisions on CNBC "articles". Their job isn't necessarily to spread decent information, but for the headlines and the main gist of the article just to be easily graspable for the masses so they share it on social media.

Shocking how many will actually react based off these types of articles. Yet they don't even understand the purpose of why its being written, or for whom.

We came to "omicron"... who would think it's possible to have so many covid variants?! All this became like some crazy shit show, and nobody has any idea what's really happening around! We may know what's on the table, but we definitely don't have a clue what is under!
I don't think there's any other purpose than to confuse people even more... it's what they have been doing from the start, while there's confusion around, the center of power will make a profit and secure their control, it's easier to rule over stupid people than over openminded!

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/12/17/european-stocks-set-to-pull-back-as-omicron-concerns-persist.html

Queto: "European stocks close lower as omicron, inflation worries weigh on sentiment"

This is now example that to be journalist you dont need to write things what making sense.
How the hell they can write even that kind of thing ??

If there is inflation it means supply of money is higher and assets are less supply even every f..7 year old kids will know that inflation makes prices of the assets going higher.
How can you even say something like this ...this proofes once again the knowledge and proper things are really not needed.

And those investors....who have worries about inflation they think stock will go lower ....if they have that fear they shouldnt be investing anywhere if they cant even undetstood simple things about how it all works.

Would be funny to read if there will be low supply of money lol...and deflation they will ouuu...stocks will go higher now.

Im sure this place about finances and money one of the cnbc workers or other wall street shills will read my topic shame on them.

We all have just one question now:
Are they write on publick website this kind of funny nonsense on purpose or they really have no clue about how the fundamentals of the markets works.

Merits for good one tnx brothers and sisters

It's the height of irony you chastising a journalist for not making sense when your trail of conversation jumps all over the place. If you dislike CNBC so much, why are you even reading it then? There are plenty of other news sources out there. Not everyone has economics knowledge or interest in how the business environment runs, so these snippets of information might be useful to some. Here you are telling investors that if they think stocks will go lower then they shouldn't buy, which is the same level of pointless explanation you're accusing the journalist of performing. In general though, they have article quotas to meet and are happy churning out some low level content because that is their job. Get over it and seek high quality information if you want it.

There's now a new study about omicron variant which is a positive news for everyone.

--> https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/12/23/omicron-cases-at-much-lower-risk-of-hospital-admission-uk-says

I think this will stabilize the market after the study. And who knows what's next as if it's not looking good for a new variant to bring the market down, will there be another variant of concern that's mutated?

This is something I read from other sources so this is good news, however while it is a nice thing that the chances the sickness you get by this virus is not going to be as serious, the biggest risk of this new strain is that some studies are showing that some of the vaccines are inefficient against it, and if yet another strain mutates from omicron that makes it more deadly then we could be in serous trouble, so this is a situation that needs to be monitored closely.

This is why scientists are in a race again to develop or maybe improve the covid vaccine that will address this variant. Some countries are already deploying their 3rd and 4th booster shots to possibly mitigate the effect of new variants. Our world is in another stage of pandemic. But with the advance technology that we have today, I believe, scientists would have better understanding of what's really going on and address it accordingly. For now, better secure the safety of your family and look for options that can sustain your financial needs.

The news themselves do not seem wrong. The stock market has suffered a bull run during the after-pandemic initial recovery and now any company that shows no proof of good results is heavily dragged down by the market. Also, the SP 500 is not going down further only thanks to those few companies in the top 10 positions by marketcap. There is nothing but fear. We may not be in a bubble as such, as prices paid respond to real profit and growth, but there may be strong effects from any risk as valuations are high.

Most likely the world we will live from now on will be one where the virus keeps mutating to the point the vaccines developed against it become ineffective and new ones will need to be created, however as long as the death rate of the virus goes down with each iteration then everything is fine, the issue will come if one of those mutations increases the death rate of the virus, so far this has not been the case but it would be silly to not prepare for that scenario.

Op, while inflation is usually associated with increasing stocks, it's not always the case. There's a correlation, but it doesn't always work, it seems. For example, the stock market and the economy famously crashed in 2007 and 2008. It's no secret that the US played the key part in it, but if you look at the inflation rate in 2007 and 2008, it was actually quite high.
If you look at, say, S&P 500, the market already crashed pretty hard in 2008, but the inflation rate was still high. Then, of course, it crashed further in 2009, and the inflation rate dropped a lot as well, but there was still a period of time when one didn't go in line with the other.
You are correct, though, that inflation and stocks currently seem synchronized, but it doesn't mean that it's always the case, I think.

Exactly, you have to have all that kind of tolerance, it is not the same to be able to endure those news chains if you don't want to hear them, this type of news chain always fudges BTC and that causes many to panic and the few who they buy BTC recklessly, they make them sell it cheap.

This means that for any field we have everything to win when it comes to being able to establish a criterion against people who bring this type of wrong news, because with knowledge you can change and have a good debate in real life so that they know well of what they are missing by believing in the tabloid news.
