This is what I was hoping as well in my previous reply. I, myself, never tried to buy these newer project, no matter on how good the token sale is/was. It smells fishy that a project wants to be in demand by lowering their price, then people would just dump it off when the token gets listed.
Still here hoping that we're both wrong thinking that the OP is shilling. It is quite common now in this board, sadly.

Interesting question for me. I often invest in new projects, especially in metaverse concepts or game products that are developed, I started this a few months before but I'm still looking for the best what I do, am I not afraid of losing, of course there is fear but I'm sure What am I doing.
Remember that new projects are full of promise even though it can't be proven later, but if you do deeper research and see the background of the project you will understand where to invest in a new project, if you think it's less attractive then don't ever make an initial investment.

It's always risky to invest into new projects but I have seen people earning huge amount on the day of listing itself, it's a double edged sword if you blindly invest but if the new project is driven by a genuine team with clear goals and have big organisations as partner then it would surely be fruitful. I think we need to look for the dev team, whitepaper, partners and nature of business.

New project is very hard to invest coz You don't know This new Projects future. Many new project has been successful already. Investing money is risky to new project. I'm personally interested but if the team promise and depp recharge about project and background. So i will invest in new project.

Is it your first time investing in a new project? For me, this is too big a risk to lose your funds because if you don't have a broader insight in doing research then for me this is quite a high risk, especially since I just heard about the name of your new project and made a sale on December 7th, for me to OP rather look for safer and stable coins on the exchange then it will make it easier for you to make real investments compared to new projects.

Investing into "new" projects is a bit vague if you ask me. I mean it could be "brand new" in crypto while being 6 months old, or it could be "released a week ago" as well, or even haven't released yet but did an IGO or something. So, "new" is a bit vague in that sense, how new? I have invested into projects in their first 6 months plenty of times, I have invested very rarely right during or a week in their release period, but I nearly never invested into anything that wasn't released just yet.
ICO, STO, IEO, IGO and all that is not what I am after, those are always way too risky for me, I did it only a few times with very tiny amounts but never really found any success with them. This is why I try to keep seeing how they release, I do not even care about what they promise in the future because they may fail, I invest for what it is, not what it could be.

I look at your new projects as a gamble and I recommend you to do the same. Of course, don't jump headfirst into gambling. Basically, research the project, if there is a whitepaper, you should read it directly, research the team, look at which projects the members of the team have worked on before, you can consider a lot of details.

Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?
I want to invest in a promising project called Yearnlab. Their token sale starts on 7th Dec and I think this is a good opportunity to successfully invest money.
Share your thoughts on such an investment. Maybe you have some interesting cases on this matter.
Yeah I'd stay away from new projects all together. You can definately make some good money on a couple but for the most part you will lose money. Most of these are just scams or pump and dumps and if you aren't on the inside you are the people they are looking for to dump into. I'd steer clear without looking back and wait until the dust settles

First of all Whats yearnlab and what are they offering thats potentially different form whats been offered by rival industry or project Do their have any tipping point that makes them unique Why are you interested in them Ask your self question and dyor well and put it in the back of your mind that good project go through whitelist on launchpads and mostly require locking and lottery Finding just any project makes you risk higher Potential and reputable launchpads makes it more safer although losing money is part of investment its called risk

Investing on a new project requires a lot of research first before putting up a money, and reading all the details about the project can help you decide either to invest or not. I'm still buying new projects especially the new trend Metaverse because I know they'll become worth it, next year might be the best year for Metaverse. Anyway, I'm not familiar on OP new project, still need to dig dipper and see if its worth buying.

If you think that it is promising, then, go ahead and invest the amount that you can afford. If you have done a lot of research on it maybe that is good to invest in because if I were in your shoe, it should be 100% sure that the project is really good like the concept of the project never existed and it has really used to the ecosystem and also should the team has a plan to list in a big exchange which is a good sign to invest. I tell you frankly that even a promising project will turn into a scam one if they have a plan to scam people from the start, we never determine a good project. It is all about you gamble your money on a new project so don't expect too much. That is why I told you to invest of what you can afford because there's no accuracy of making a profit in investing in a new project.

did you mean this project : https://yearnlab.com/#presale ? yearnlab is a new defi project which is still in pre-sale stage, if you believe in your choice then no one will stop your decision. just a little advice from me to research again and don't invest all your money in just 1 project.

Depends and if i do see some exceptional quality of the said project but if not then i would simply skip and treat it just like those shitty coins in the market. Its not bad on having some considerations on investing into new projects but we know that this market had been flooded out by lots of fraud projects which simply means that we shouldnt really be careless on making investment decisions because you would just basically be scammed in the end.

Investing in a new project is very close to losing money. It takes various studies before making a decision. Investing in crypto is better on proven coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin and coins that are in the top 10 on coinmarketcap. These coins are a safe choice for investment.
You'll be right especially when you just invest blindly and have never done the research. This usually happened to newbies before but I believe that people are already changed now and they take cautiously before risking their money. We can't deny that major new coins are worthless but there are still a few. That to admit it was a very risky move but if you are lucky and that project really has the potential, why not? Like Shiba Inu, like Axie, these are examples that the majority just ignore, and later on, it boom...making us regret.

To invest in a new project is very risky, but if you want to invest in a new project then a lot of things you have to look at first, such as the team working on the project whether they are always active in developing their project, and the whiterepaper of the project is also very important for us to see and when investing in a new project we are ready to lose our assets because not all new projects can be successful as we expect.

I rarely invest in new projects because its risky. Its hard to spot a good project that has potential and unlikely to be scam thus if you're going to invest in new projects, digging deeper is necessary to find a new gem. Its best to choose an old projects because they're proven to be legit.

Yes i agree, those top coins like ethereum, binance, etc were also new projects back years ago. So i think it's okay to invest in new project as long as we already do a deep research before investing. Allocating 1%-5% of our portoflio wouldn't have so much impact if the project going scam at the end, but if we hit the great project, the amount could be 100x times in a year interval.

For me personally investing in young projects is very risky because we haven't seen the market response at the time of listing, if the Yearnlab coin has good fundamentals in the future it might be a long-term investment if we think about the worst case scenario in short-term investing because every start-up company takes time in development

To be honest lately I prefer new altcoins launched by trusted platforms that can make quick profits in just a few hours, but keep in mind that not all of them are profitable if you enter your initial investment late. which I can recommend for those platforms such as binance lauchpad, solanium, gate.io startup. the rest depends on how you believe in the project because usually if it is a good project it will continue to increase in value according to the growth of the community.

Actually, yeah. I've newly started investing into new projects in this market. But I care about choosing the right projects as much as possible. If the project doesn't seem to be a promising one, then I give up on it. I examine the whitepaper and so to have enough information to make a decision about the project. And sometimes, there is even a possibility for the project to turn out to be a scam even though it seems promising.
