Matic is obviously not a stable coin. It is just a native token of sidechain Polygon. I invest in this token as I see a good potential in it. Its ecosystem is growing very rapidly. A couple of days ago, Butorin wrote on Reddit that Polygon may become a key solution for scaling Ethereum. Buterin will be speaking at the Polygon conference soon. At first, I thought Polygon will not reach again the $2. Because for a few months this year, MATIC stay sideways in terms of price. But I believe that's how good projects are. A lot of projects started to move in Polygon as a Layer 2 network built on top of Ethereum.

I really expected something like 4 dollars to be fair. Not that it ever reached those prices even during the hype but I felt like that would have been realistic. With 4 dollars per Matic you are looking at top 10 for it, and considering how ETH is used like crazy and it is basically as good as fiat these days and people are "spending" billions a month easily on it, why wouldn't matic which would save them 99% of the price not be any higher? Of course that didn't happen, we are stuck under $3 this year.

IMO, I think Polygon Network's Matic token is a potential coin due to its use cases with that reason I believe it will be skyrocket soon, it might reach $50 in 2022 who knows if the cryptocurrency market situation will be favorable and the Bulls will run again just like Binance after it was launched the BSC Network, the Matic price today is the good starting point I guess because it has plenty of room to improve. but it was just my opinion and not a bit of investment advice.

Im agree with u, im think its can make more, x100 but need time, mb 2-3 years, coz its smth like eth+solana.

This is what I am wondering as well. There is a good case to be made about the situation at hand. If we could end up seeing Matic go up super high, but then get super demoted because of ETH 2.0 then what will people do with Matic? They need to find themselves another purpose because if they keep thinking that being a cheaper helper of ETH is the only thing they are good at, then they are not going to really keep on being awesome.

Obviously it works right now but that is only good for right now. The moment ETH has cheap gas fee, it will turn Matic into something super useless. This is why they need to find an alternative reason for people to use them. I invested a little bit into Matic and I feel like it has been good for me for a while now but that doesn't change the fact that the moment I see 2.0 getting closer, I will probably sell all of my Matic.
