Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Your transaction has only confirmed inputs, so that's not the problem. The problem is the fee: 1 sat/vbyte is the minimum, and in the past day this wasn't enough to confirm.
Since RBF is enabled, you can probably use your wallet to bump the fee. Just a few sat/vbyte should be enough (I wouldn't go about 12 sat/vbyte now).

Alternatively, send the change from that transaction to one of your own addresses, but use a higher fee to use CPFP (Child Pays For Parent). Depending on your wallet you may need to enable Coin Control to manually select the unconfirmed change input (probably 39EeRH2dQzFXiudtUcfURMZ86Wj8xG5vxL).

Thanks so much for your response.  I use ledger nano and ledger live so I don't think there's an option to use RBF within that platform (could be wrong).   I wanted to avoid using another wallet service if possible.  Again thank you!  Yes unfortunately I put the fee way too low.  Do you happen to know if it will be returned to my wallet after sometime is that likely or do you think it's likely it will go through at some point?

Send the change from the transaction?  What is the "change" exactly?

Thanks

Unless they changed it recently, they do indeed flag RBF, but can't use it.

I would recommend to use Electrum with your Ledger (DO NOT enter your seed words into Electrum). That way you can use RBF on your existing transaction, and still verify and sign the transactions on the Ledger. See Ledger's Electrum instructions.

I expect it to confirm eventually. If it doesn't happen soon, fees usually drop during the weekend.

I haven't used Ledger Live, so I don't really know if/how it shows in there.

Coin Control and Replace By Fees is available in Ledger Live wallet for years, I think from year 2020.
It's much better to use Ledger device with Electrum wallet that also have this feature and it's open source.

Do you happen to know if it will be returned to my wallet after sometime is that likely or do you think it's likely it will go through at some point?
Bitcoin is not boomerang to return like that, and I don't know what fees you used (1sat/vB is minimum) but transaction is probably going to be confirmed latest this weekend.
EDIT: I see you used 1sat/vB, so it's all good, just be patient and wait if you are not in a hurry.

Send the change from the transaction?  What is the "change" exactly?
Change is the remaining balance of the UTXOs picked for the tranasction.

Assuming you sent 0.5 BTC to 3Mnr2U........, 39EeRH........... should be your change address.
If you make a transaction from your change address with an enough high fee, miners will include both transactions (the main transaction and the one made from your change address) in a same block.
(This method is called CPFP.)

Anyway, I recommend you to bump the fee using electrum (as suggested by LoyceV). It should be cheaper than CPFP.

It was 1sat/vB but the transaction is .5 BTC.  Not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the tip on using Electrum/open source wallet rather than Ledger live.  That makes sense and seems safer I think I'll start doing that.

The fee you need to pay for a transaction doesn't depend on the sending amount.

The transaction fee depends on:
1. Number of inputs and outputs
2. The network state (how busy the network is)
3. How fast you want your transaction to be confirmed
4. Your addresses type (legacy, nested segwit or native segwit)

I'm glad that your problem has been solved OP. Just another tip: If you're having problems interpreting the useful chart provided by LoyceV, then perhaps you could use mempool.space[1] in your next transaction (to determine the fee to use*). From my perspective that website is really good for beginners, considering how visual the information is displayed. As a useful addition, do read this[2] blog entry that will explain in a more detailed way most of the graphs that are shown to you.

*They will suggest you a value, you're still free to judge it and see if it's a fee you're willing to pay considering the urgency of it.

No. the amount being transacted makes pretty much no difference in terms of transaction priority. It is almost exclusively the fee rate being paid.

As at 00:30 UTC, Friday, 3 December 2021... there are only around 8 blocks worth of unconfirmed transactions... and the vast majority of those are all using 1 sat/byte fees... If network conditions stay the same (no guarantees), there is a relatively good possibility that your transaction will get confirmed in the next few hours without requiring any intervention.

However, if you have an urgent requirement to have the transaction confirmed, then I would agree with the others that using Electrum+Ledger device to bump the fee via RBF is the best course of action.

Transaction is included in block 712312, so problem solved by now.

Sooner or later you're going to realize, just as I did, that there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path
