What is the DeFi project which doesn't trigger a taxable event when staking?

A while ago I read a news about a new innovative DeFi crypto/token which staking does not reward by claiming new assets but rather by an increase of value of the holding crypto or token. This does not cause a taxable event because no new assets are claimed.

I forgot what is the name of this crypto or project and had been searching for it for the past few days, but to no avail.

Does anyone know?
