Futures tradings fees, please give me a numeric example

Sorry the terminologies are extremely confusing and a numerical example can help a great deal.

1. What is the cheapest-fee exchange trading crypto futures for U.S. residents, is it Binance or FTX (with 20X leverage), really confused about the terminologies and fee structure?

For quarterly-dated futures:

2. If I want to long 1 unit of ETH-0325, currently trading at $3200.2; 2a. What is the precise amount I need to put in to long? Is it 3200.2? or Is it 3200.2 divided by 20? 2b. What is the fee associated with this transaction?

3. If I want to short 1 unit ETH-0325, currently trading at $3200.2; 3a. What is the precise amount I need to put (up-front) to short? 3b. What is the fee associated with this short transaction?

For perpetual futures:

4. If I want to long 1 unit of ETH-PERP, currently trading at $3162.0; 4a. What is the precise amount I need to put in to long? Is it 3162.0? or Is it 3162.0 divided by 20? 4b. What is the fee associated with this transaction?

5. If I want to short 1 unit ETH-PERP, currently trading at $3162.0; 5a. What is the precise amount I need to put (up-front) to short? 5b. What is the fee associated with this short transaction?

I thought leverage trading is not available for US citizens? Are you talking about binance.com or binance.us? Is there leverage trading on binance.us?

Each exchanges have different trading fee, you will need to read the rules regarding trading fee on the exchange you are using. You will use the exchange fee which should be in percentage to calculate the fee that will be deducted.

In 10x leverage, if you have $100, you will have $1000 to trade. If the trading fee is 0.2%, the fee will be $2

$1000 X 0.2% = $1000 X 0.2 ÷100 = $2.

For $1000, 10x leverage which is $10000, it will be $20

Leverage is very risky, use low leverage or stay with spot trading.

Thanks for the reply. derivs.ftx.us does allow u.s. residents to trade futures. I believe the fee structure for futures are very confusing. Especially given the leverage, and shorts I have no idea what the fee terminologies is referring to what, if you could please answer specifically to the numerical questions above (Q2-Q5) assuming the most expensive FTX fee table. Thanks.

There's already some existing content around the internet about such things mate wherein you can easily search it using simple keyboards to be honest..because you know I'm very curious about such features especially when it comes know fees and you're using different leverage..and yhep youtube nowadays is very  informative because mostly traders within youtube sharing their experiences as well and of course knowledge..

If you understand the process, those numbers should be super easy to calculate and can immediately make sense, sorry somehow words are ambiguous but numbers are clear for me.
