When everyone's excited about something, that's the point to sell. When people are disappointed, that might be the time to buy some more but when people are neutral and most have mixed feelings, it's normally best just to wait.

Mixed feelings don't normally cause dumps afaik too.

But that doesn't mean that you won't stay updated, it is important to know what's the update about that coin you are holding. Trading because you're afraid of bear market is just typically saying that you're ready to throw away the time you've spent hodling your token(s).

If you say so but I have a doubt if the market won't dump after the pump next year. If bitcoin could sustain the price like what it was doing in the past few months maybe the market could sustain a very long bullish trend but once FUD enter the scene, those weak hands investors will eventually going to dump their shit because they always think that bitcoin is like what happened in 2018. I think they were the people who do buy during the peak on 2017 but lost when the market dump. So, they have to force to sell at a very low price instead of holding it.

Yeah you are right, bitcoin market has already started its bull run recently like you have mentioned and it may continue its rally with the help of institutional investors toward $100k or beyond that. So, there would be very very lesser chances for bitcoin be dumped harder from this point and for next 3 to 5 months.

I don't know if that was the work of the whales or is it just how people would react to a sudden FUD. I am uncertain about the market for now since it's quite different from the past and making any price prediction these days might not work or maybe this is how whales are playing with us. Next year will be a another long time of waiting again until bitcoin break another new ATH.
