I still believe in altcoins. This hype will last a very long time. with NFT, metaverse, DEFI, and many more potential altcoins in the future, it makes my confidence unshakable. maybe speculation is growing too fast not compared to market conditions. but therein lies the potential of altcoins. perhaps speculation is the biggest influence in the development of the altcoin and bitcoin market.

Indeed in 2021, Altcoins are contrary to speculation, only a few Altcoins have exploded, but in general far beyond expectations.

I also think that entering 2022, it will be much worse for Altcoins, that's just an opinion, but what is certain is that now we are in a new era of life, how will the next Altcoin continue.

The altcoin market witnessed some new development and projects such as the web 3 NFTs and the discovery of the metaverse which are now the rave of the moment, this and many more are the happenings that characterize the altcoin market with its wave being transferred to this year 2022. Altcoins have gained a lot of steam in recent months and I think that a lot of the projects out there are certainly competitors to ETH and BSC, which are currently the most dominant players.

NEAR, FTM and other projects all have a ton of potential and with the advent of DeFi will likely see substantial further growth going into 2022.

My opinion, the prediction just looking at the conditions in previous years after the BTC halving occurred, why the market doesn't repeat because the world economy is experiencing big problems due to the pandemic. Altcoins in 2022 have their struggles, and 2022 has just been a few days so it's pretty early to predict what will happen to altcoins market.

It's all totally depend with the mother of crypto. The development of tech will always be going forward and this can't be prevented. People must have adopted the new tech of they will be getting far away from others in term of adoption of the new technology. Metaverse and web 3.0 have proven how fast the development in the crypto market. that's why so many new companies are interesting to put their money into the crypto companies instead of regular companies. Look at how much money was going flow to the crypto market compared witha  few years ago. That being said the trend in crypto will be alive for long term. There's nothing wrong with the current dump. It's only happening once bitcoin faces bearish trend.

Well it takes time to develop something like metaverse, we can't always get good news about the growth of new projects they need to do some research and research over time. Just let the market take a rest for a while, while we are buying the dip  . I'm not that hype about coins or altcoins this year because when watching the trend for the market to recover it takes a couple of years.

I don't see any altcoin projects that already implemented the full functionality of web 3.0 and metaverse yet but there are some big projects that planned to adopt it and the investors are already flock to the projects because of FOMO. I'm sure metaverse and 3.0 is still become a hype this year but not fully implemented because it's not a simple thing to create but by creating the hype of how these things gonna works in the future will make the projects with these technology will be hunted by many investors

Well it takes time to develop something like metaverse, we can't always get good news about the growth of new projects they need to do some research and research over time. Just let the market take a rest for a while, while we are buying the dip  . Altcoins have their own potentials to grow but we can't expect for them to never dump as we are currently facing a correction. But once this correction will be over, and the market becomes stable again, then we can witness altcoin projects start to boom especially if an altcoin season will be visible this year. For now, let's just enjoy buying while prices are still declining. Popular altcoins with strong foundation will grow eventually but let's just wait first for the market to recover.

I remember altcoins back in January 2018, after Bitcoin made an all-time-high altcoin started to move again and that time was indeed alt season.
But this time, it seems it is totally different now. Altcoins are not that wild compared to last 2017-2018, but there are still a lot of shitcoins out there now.

But I am still looking forward to the alt season especially when the Bitcoin dominance will drop, we just started the first month of 2022.

Altcoins and Bitcoins are classified as crypto assets, Altcoins project themselves to be a better version of Bitcoin. The emergence of this peer-to-peer digital currency is indeed 'following' the success of its predecessor. However, Altcoins come with the promise of fixing some of the shortcomings that Bitcoin has.

I was able to collect back what I invested on the year 2019, but I regret the decision of selling it, I was not able to make profit. Doesn't matter anymore, these predictions can never be accurate anytime. But even though some of them have hit to the point and made my days, so I won't lose faith on altcoins and still manage to hold some. Altcoins are definitely risky to invest so we should analyze first all our actions before making such decisions. But even how far we keep on making researches on altcoins, i think having it corrected or seeing its prices are declining are just normal and inevitable. Let's say altcoins ha6ve not met yet its high predictions that we all made of. Maybe in 2022, it will be realized soon.

Altcoins have definitely their high potentials to be more valuable so we just have to keep the faith and continue trusting altcoins. Who knows an altcoin season will happen this year and we'll definitely make huge profits from altcoins. Better keep hodling this time and just wait for a good timing to sell.

Well if you compare the price of most altcoins at the first day of 2021 with the price of the first day of 2022 then i would say that most altcoins did pretty well in 2021 i would guess. Yes of course it is true that altcoins and smaller cap altcoins especially took heavy losses in the second half of 2021 and also my portfolio that consists mainly of small cap and new projects is down like 80% at least from it's ATH from back in May 2021. Still my portfolio is now worth more than in January of 2021 so overall the last year was pretty good i would say.
In my opinion we now need a phase where BTC and ETH are stable before the others altcoins can beging to rise again.

There’s never a time that the predictions that are being made are not positive about the coins in the market increasing in value. Although I believe that they would go up, because usually after the bitcoin bull run, altcoins willalso start being bullish as well, and I am believing that it is likely to be this year 2022.

There are already coins that are doing pretty well and their prices are going up, although majority of them seems like are not doing quite good right now. It’s just going to be a matter of time and we would see them increasing in value.

Indeed, there is no guarantee that the altcoins we choose based on the analysis and research that we do can meet our expectations. Therefore, investing
in altcoins is high risk, but if we look at the profit promised by altcoins which is quite large, make us brave enough to face these risks. In the end,
we really have to have faith in the altcoins of our choice. But I believe as long as we do our best, then we will get good results too. So never doubt
the choices we will take, because whatever we do in life there is always a risk. So if we believe in the future of some of our chosen altcoins, don't hesitate
to buy them and hold them until we can make a profit.

I definitely agree with this. I think that bitcoin and altcoins difference is getting smaller and smaller. Now we see all of them go up together and we see all of them go down together. Sure there are some individual ones that change based on some stuff like news or achievements or funding or marketing etc etc but that doesn't change the fact that we are talking about being together in the general sense.

In 2018, we saw them move separately, but this time around we are seeing them move together. Look at 2020 and 2021, we didn't see alts move up without bitcoin all that much, sure it happened for a while but it was a small period and wasn't as long as 2018 and as high as that. Now if alts go up, they do it together with bitcoin, and since bitcoin price goes up, they go up too, and then they go up against bitcoin a small bit at the same time and not on a different date.
