I bought MUSK coins (via ICO or via Pancakeswap) and it's really annoying that the MUSK coins can't be resold.

Well I haven't check everything about it, but this is what I can say:

[1] Anything that have Musk name in a coin should be considered as a hype, thus a meme coin
[2] We all know that meme coins are pump and dump scheme
[3] You should do your own investigation first before you buy it
[4] If you can't sold it then something is wrong with that project

So in my conclusion, I think it is obvious a scam project, sorry to burst the bubble for you.

If this is a memecoin or shitcoin with tons of supply like trillions or whatever, in order to sell it on PancakeSwap you either need to increase your slippage to make the transaction or check if there is enough liquidity on that pool or tokens you are traded. Chances that there is no liq ( or rug pull imminent) but in some cases the slippage used isnt enough try to increase it lime by 2 points every try and if its work the transaction would be process.

Did Elon himself create these coins? Probably no. Then that means these projects are using his name to gain attention. Why don't they make the fame in some other way? Why don't they promote their use cases instead? It is because hype is their only use case. They may not be scams but they are probably pump and dump shitcoins which means they are as good as scams.

So I guess everyone knows the answer to the OP, this is a scam, and just look at the name itself, not just Elon, but "MetaMask" itself was being taken advantage of this criminals to trap many noobs in the crypto space to run off and do a rug pull from this unsuspecting victims.

If you cannot sell it then 100% scam, most scam tokens in BSC are locked by devs , you cannot interact with the SC anymore so execution error may occur. If I were you stop engaging in memes hoping to earn fast money better invest in legit and for long term tokens with legit devs.

Yeah this is a scam token. You will never able to get back your money until the dev will be deactivate the function to block hodlers that wanna sold their stash.

This is scam token pretty similar like squid game cash token. You will able to buy it but you will not able to sold your tokens. The dev was totally controlling your token and the dev can run away anytime with your money. Have you done your own research before try to invest your money into the shit scam like this? It looks so pathetic so many people are getting trapped by more and more new scam tokens even when there are so many awareness in the market about this kind of token.

I heard the same thing from many musk coin airdrop hunters, they jubilated for getting paid but unfortunately they can't sell their airdrop tokens I think this token or project should be considered a complete scam, it's same with projects that lock their liquidity for no reason

Yes. Many people complained after buying the token and he couldn't resell it after seeing the price going up.
I think we need to be more careful in buying a token, do more research so that we are not easily fooled by projects like this.

I never think to put money money to the suspicious token like this. you can see that based on its name if this token is only a hyped token that wants to get the demand by using musk as a part of its name.
When you are not able to selling your coin and that indicates if this coin may waiting for the liquidity in the dex to increase and then owner of the contract will dump you like what happened with squid game.
You must read some articles about squid game cash token and im thinking if the creator of squid game cash is who has been running this token. You must prepare yourself if this token becomes a scam token anytime. You should learn never try buy meme token. I guess you will be learning a lot from this case. People keep complaining about this but they bought this token. They never did DYOR.

No need to go into more details. The name itself of the project is already suspicious. Any project that puts or uses Elon Musk's name should be avoided.

The project is likely a scam and I'll not entrust it with any cent of my money. If you've bought it and you're too doubtful on it, you should haven't bought it in the first place.

at first I thought this project was real.
I have evaluated both the roadmap, WP, twitter channel and website. what's more I see that this project has about 681,281 wallet addresses. and Yes maybe this is purely my fault, I'm not careful, I consider this my first experience.
one more thing, I saw some addresses managed to sell their coins? is that the behavior of the project developer?

These addresses were owned by the developers. That's why these addresses have special permission to access the function to sell the tokens to the market.

Yes it is. I have learned a lot from the squid game cash's case. The dev was sending some tokens and spread it to the various wallet. These tokens will be sold to get some funds to manipulate the trade and volume.
The dev will be manipulating the volume to lure LP provider to add more liquidity to the liquidity pool. Afte it has enough liquidity pool and the developers will be using the backdoor function to be able to take the liquidity that already add to the liquidity pool. that's pretty similar like robbering people's money.

unfortunately i got those coins by buying using personal money and not free. unlike most of them get it for free when joining the airdrop.

Of course it is a scam. Do you really think that Elon Musk would name a cryptocurrency by his own name? Why wouldnt he named tesla car by "Musk car model X" for example? Or did not name SpaceX shuttles with Musk 1, Musk 2 and etc? Nowadays, it is easier to tell what can be a real coin, than to identify a scam. Just look an idea behind the name. Also, every altcoin that has an animal in its name, or has Musk, Elon, are created to catch attention, grab money and not be responsible for anything after funds are confirmed on altcoins wallet.

The skam token imitates the MetaMask governance token (MASK), which has not been released yet.
One Twitter user under the nickname lindyape shared a screenshot of the transaction history of an Ethereum holder who bought MASK for 22 ETH (almost $88,000) and cannot sell it for any price. According to Etherscan, the number of victims of this scam is approaching 400. The token is issued by the shadowy decentralized company "MaskDAO," whose website was registered on December 27.
Be extremely careful and don't buy tokens that official sources don't tell you about on their social networks!

I almost fall for this project due to their hypes that's been created by airdroppers using Twitter and other but the utility is what turned me off now I'm so glad I don't waste my effort on the project, there are many airdrops that are scam do deep research and you will be able to avoid them
