If by defeated/beaten you mean that people stop caring then I think we may see that this year.  Vaccines are available for those that want them.  Masks are socially acceptable now for those who want to wear them.  All we need to do now is stop trying to force these vaccines and masks on people who don't want them in their lives and we can all move forward.  The question is how long will governments continue to try and test their level of control over their populace?  I'm guessing as we get closer to the campaign trail for the 2024 presidency, the administration in the US will switch the narrative to them having saved the day.  Probably why they're dumping 500,000 free tests that nobody asked for on Americans right now.  They need a spike in the numbers so they can tout their reduction of covid later on.

I think United States if America is simply the major target,to disrupt them.... despite all of their health care and safety meàsures.
I have seen less or no cases of COVID-19 in Africa, is it that were having stronger immune system than the white's ?

It's definitely not happening this year, however, I do believe that the Omicron variant will soon be contained, because it's infecting thousands of people at a time. It's highly transmittable, especially in closed areas. From my point of view, Omicron could potentially be the beginning of the end of the pandemic, however, I don't mean to eradicate it forever, that might never happen, but it'll become less deadly after so many mutations.

We will be living with Covid for many years but I'm hoping humanity has learned to live with it without feeling defeated over the next year or 2.
I get a flu shot every year, I'd take 2 if they let me (since they switch off which one they're dosing you with).
Maybe we're better prepared for the next global health crisis (since plenty more are coming)?

I doubt about it. I read that Omicron may be beginning of the end of pandemic because it spreads fast and most part of population is going to face it. It has light symptoms, it's less deadly. But despite it that Omicron is flu basically, according to governments boosters is must needed, despite that it don't gives much protection against Omicron.
I think it's not useful for governemnts to end pandemic. It makes easier for them to keep people in fear and control them.
I don't even talk pharmacy industry, vaccines gives insane profits for them.

Vaccines and masks is available and acceptable, but unfortunately it's not optional thing, basically it's mandatory. You must wear mask when you enter shop or be vaccinated in order not to lose job. I wish that people would have choice, but governments have different opinion.

There are few things we can do to lessen the effect
1. Rest: Rest will boost immunity and help body to focus on its most important priority that is to heal and recover
2. Rather than relying on medicine take more of natural immunity boosters and flu fighting herbs like honey, essential oils and ginger.
3. If you are really sick go to the doc..
So where will it all end???

Do you really tolerate what irks you?  How long do you want to hold stay with this.
Embracing Covid as you've said is embarrassing to see you write such, you shouldn't absorb what is toxic, there must be possible ways to get this shit down.
I'm optimistic about it, gradually, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't put on a nose mask and be self cautious of crowded areas.

I think it has been largely defeated by the end of 2021.

I think so, Since the invention of the vaccine and the introduction of the vaccine, it has been possible to prevent coronavirus. Even last year, the world was still, there was no vibration of life. But since October 2021, educational institutions and other institutions were opened in different countries, Covid affected rate also decreases a lot.

Vaccines do not completely eliminate the virus. You need to be aware of yourself as well as the vaccination. Since the flu is contagious, the virus is contagious also and spreads from person to person, So everyone should be aware of their place and maintain cleanliness.

If you don't follow some basic things, these viruses will never be prevented, Then there is nothing to do but blame the vaccine (because the vaccine did not work).

You will eventually get Covid if you have not gotten it already, so don't bother worrying about a disease that you have a 99.7 percent chance surviving. If you get omicron, you have virtually a 100 percent chance surviving. Is that something you want to have anxiety over?

Covid is endemic, there is no putting an end to it. There's only people that will not let it go.

Don't agree that all people need to get vaccinated. With dominating omicron variant, it's not that dangerous, even for not vaccinated people. I read articles that that it can begining of end of pandemic, but in general, covid won't be gone soon, but it may be considered as common flu.
