Seems like we have to run a little more this new year.
Willi, I was going through a few articles from this forum legends, do we need to do any math to check whether our current hash rates are enough? what do you think during this ever-increasing hashrate/diff. ?

I am far from being an expert in all this but I'm not sure it matters much. Mathematically, we have the same odds of cracking a block running 10PH for 3 days versus 30PH for 1 day. I personally prefer the slightly longer runs for a more stable rental and so the fun and anticipation isn't over so quickly but odds are odds

Short runs with more hashrate increases the probability for winning the current block.
We have to balance hashrate and duration to sustain and run one after another.
The btc we can throw and the hashrate enough to give an edge to find the "current block" decides our sweetspot. I recommend 40PH minimum for 24hrs for each run. Let our master rider Willi decides.

Verschiedene Quellen wie z.B. die Universität Cambridge geben für Kasachstan etwa 18 % der weltweiten Hashrate fürs Bitcoin Mining an. Sind ja einige Miner nach dem Verbot in China dahin übergesiedelt.

Als Tropfen würde ich dies daher nicht bezeichen und wenn diese Probleme dort länger anhalten könnte dies für einen ordentlichen Dip bei der Difficulty sorgen.

Ist aber in der Tat schon etwas dran. Keiner von uns kann so viel Erfahrung mit den runs und Rentals aufweisen wie willi. Daher würde ich mich auch voll auf sein Bauchgefühl verlassen.
Das musste jetzt einmal gesagt werden

Einen fetten Einbruch der Hashrate hat es durch die Vorfälle in Kazakhstan nicht gegeben, oder sind die Seiten mit den Grafiken zu träge?

Last year we did 22 runs.

2x blocks found run 8 and 14.

run 8   - 20PH we had   440.800.702.827 shares
run 14 - 20PH we had   531.925.514.714 shares

we only started 30PH after run 17 and our shares have been 650.000.000.000 average.

so we can add speed at a cost of time and shares.

Willi has always gone for low cost and more shares. that has been the winning formula.

slow and steady, and A LOT OF LUCK, we will find a block.
