Apologies if this post is in the wrong place.  I'm new here.  There doesn't seem to be a category for developing dApps exactly.

About me: I've been building for the web since the turn of the millennium. I know the usual stack for the web, HTML-CSS(SCSS)-Javascript-PHP-SQL. And, I'm just beginning to pick up Python and Pinescript, but they're pretty similar to other languages, or just easy in the case of pinescript, that it shouldn't take long to get up to speed.

I've been reading and reading about dApps and crypto for about a week solid so far and my head is spinning.  Can anyone shine a light on a good path to take on my journey?  I'm so excited about building web 3.0. It sounds like everything I always wished the web would be. I almost stopped coding and abandoned the internet because of the way it has been heading.

Where would be the best place to jump in and help and learn?

Thanks!

I search a bit looking for dApps source code or any source that can help you learn about dApps development.

Try to check these links below

Also, check this course https://lab.github.com/Lonero-Team/build-a-dapp/

Thanks. I guess I should have mentioned that I've been searching on it myself for weeks so far.  I'm signed up at github and know how to search that too.

I was hoping there were some experienced developers here that might have some personal experience to share or who can point me towards links based on personal experience.

I'm getting the vibe that this is the wrong forum for this.

Edit: Sorry, I gotta admit. Now that I check, those links are helpful and even though I've seen most of this stuff before it's nice to have it all in one place. So, thank you.  But, it's all so vast I'm still having a little trouble figuring out where to jump in as a former web monkey.

I'm getting the vibe that this is the wrong forum for this.
There is so little of altcoin or smart contract technical discussion in contrast to the Bitcoin on this forum. I also don't see a long-lasting of any altcoin technical thread going around on here, so yea this maybe not particularly the best forum to chat around with other smart contract developers.

Anyway, apart from the provided resourceful link, if you really need some guidance from others who are more experienced, I can't name some members on here, but maybe you can try to find a group/community with that specific niche of developers other than here.
