If mining coins aren't profitable anymore what will be better to mine and hold comfortable for years till another bull cycle gets here?

1. Ravencoin
2. Ergo
3. Conflux
4. Ethereum Classic

What will you be mining?

Check out TON coin i kinda have more confidence on this project than ravencoin, also Ergo is a better one too it all depends on the project use cases but Ethereum classic isn't on my watchlist

When the balance on the wallets runs out, mining will stop. 194-216 days left

What does this mean? I am interested as mining Ethereum with graphics cards now isn't giving me enough anymore. I have 3 rx5600xt, does ton available to be mined with this? Got to check it out.

I think that rx5600xt will give more profit on ethereum (38-43 megahash) depending on the choice of electricity consumption.
TON coin mining is limited in time, and as soon as known wallets are empty, mining will end. I will mine ethereum on my rx5600xt before the start of the POS algorithm.

@FP91G you do believe that the Ethereum POS is really coming and PoW mining will end? How certain are you? If this happens it will affect other coins as well because their difficulty will surge I doubt they will remain profitable

I think that in the 2nd quarter of 2022, Ethereum mining will end, or we will have more accurate information. If the current hashrate is directed to other coins, then the profit will fall by 5-10 times. I don't know what coin can replace ethereum, because over 80% of graphics cards mine ethereum.

if it goes pos in oct of 2022 I see the largest crash and burn 🔥 of crypto-coins ever.

Then all hell will broke loose many miners will sell their GPUs for cheap price, I believe another ETH coin will rise from the deeps, a new altcoin that will be as profitable as ETH in mining, this isn't the end
