Yeah yeah, you should see how people been pondering on this, hitting the search button, typing Satoshi nakamoto on google, people making false claims to be him also.
I see him being arrested and detained by the government if he finally comes out from the, since this gives new individuals financial freedom over their money..

If Satoshi is still alive, it's obvious he values his privacy above any potential praise he might receive for his achievement. Also, his life might be in danger by those who resent bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

If he were to somehow reappear and prove himself as Satoshi, by signing messages attached to original wallets, then he'd obviously be immensely influential. However, as bitcoin is a decentralized network, it's become bigger than any individual, however influential. He'd be in this scenario someone akin to Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, or Jeff Bezos but in the crypto sphere.

Yes, it will have an effect on the network. Not sure how big, but mostly it is the price that will be affected. If he moves his coins, we might see the price become more volatile. If he says something bitcoin, the price might fluctuate a lot. After all, people will see him as a leading figure of bitcoin. Some people will follow him blindly even if he says something wrong.
Also: could he be able to change the bitcoin security or sonething related???
Nope, he won't be able to do that unless majority of the people agrees to his changes.

It will surely trigger the market dump. Do you know that Satoshi wallet is still untouched? Roughly 1 million bitcoin is waiting to be liquid if he or she wish to sell his bitcoin. Another thing I  think he will never come public is that, he might cause a mix reactions among speculator, buyers and sellers, hodlers, and micro strategies.
He/she built bitcoin buts it's now a peer to peer network that he cannot change a single thing except others nodes and miners agree to accept whatever update he wishes to update.
It pointless thinking Satoshi will come back, he may be reading your text or chilling right now at home with family or may be dead. Enjoy bitcoin revolution, Satoshi has given you bitcoin, vso enjoy it.

The size of impact will totally depend on how "controversial" his/her/their political/environmental/etc stances are.

Also: could he be able to change the bitcoin security or sonething related???
No. If a single person/entity could change Bitcoin then Bitcoin might as well just be dead to start with.

Kind new around, and i never heard/saw nothing about it…
You need to do more digging.

You asking this question means his absence is already making an impact. So if his absence already makes an impact, how much more his coming back?

Fortunately for Bitcoin, since it is decentralized, Satoshi will just be one among us in terms of his/her/their ability to change Bitcoin. In terms of price, it will be inevitable that there will be many who will dump knowing that the possibility has arrived. Satoshi is worth more than a million Bitcoin.

Will Satoshi come back, though? No.

It certainly would not be good.

Not only would governments begin a massive smear campaign against him/her; if they were able to prove they have access to the 'massive' bitcoin wallets that belong to Satoshi, this could send the price tumbling due to the shock in supply. Many say the price already factors in the millions of lost bitcoin.

He is holding a significant amount of Bitcoin. Do you think he will give a fck on going public while he can live his life peacefully and rich with a perfect anonymous escape in the history? Ofcourse it will give an impact since he might be use to hype the crypto market or FUD since he might have something in his stash that might affect Bitcoin since his appearance will be very suspicious at all. We all know that Satoshi is a clever person so he will not gonna make move like this.

I think the impact (hidden satoshi) is the same as (apparent satoshi), i don't think satoshi will make any change to bitcoin if it becomes public, i don't think it will appear mainly because its appearance would be a threat to his privacy and maybe his life, but even if he appears i don't think we will see a Big impact on Bitcoin, I think Satoshi is completely satisfied with the current Bitcoin situation and if he exists now, he is sure that he is observing the situation unobtrusively and doing everything he can do without announcing his true personality, so I don't think he will think of public appearances one day.

No, not even a little bit. Simply because bitcoin is decentralized and no single entity, no matter who they are, can ever control it.

As for the effects of Satoshi coming back, it is only going to be on the price and nothing else since people love to find some excuse to make irrational decisions in the market. The size of the impact depends on when such a hypothetical situation is going to take place. The more mature the market gets, the less the effects are going to be.
