We are thrilled to announce the launch of an open beta version of a Web3 trading card game called NanoMoon. NanoMoon combines the excitement of traditional trading card games with the power of blockchain technology, creating a truly immersive gaming experience. The game was heavily inspired by text based RPGs of the 80s. We’ve incorporated the rich and immersive storytelling style that defined that era of gaming. We’ve placed emphasis on player imagination, storytelling, choice consequence and visual exploration. We still have a lot of work to do on the game, but we're very proud of the release of this open beta version.
Key Features of NanoMoon:🃏
Unique AI Generated Cards: Each card in NanoMoon is a is generated through AI. We created a unique set of visually impressive prompts which users can further fine-tune in order to achieve the look they want.

Web2 / Web3 Hybrid: We use a combination of Web2 and Web3 technologies to enhance the gameplay experience. For example, users login through MetaMask and enjoy seamless transactions, the opportunity of true ownership of in-game assets, and a player-driven economy. However, in order to keep the flow of the game seamless and fast, most narrative game progression happens off-chain.

Strategic Gameplay: Engage in strategic battles with your unique card deck. Combine cards, develop winning strategies, and conquer opponents in a player-versus-NPC environment (player vs. player coming soon). The more you play, the better chances you’ll have of unlocking rare and powerful cards!

Ethereum Rewards: Card images are unique and dynamically generated based partially on player generated prompts. Similarly, card stats increase or decrease based on player decisions. This means a card’s value will be largely driven by the actions, decisions and strategic choices of the card’s owner. Once we have roughly 100 open beta users (and some additional player feedback), we’re going to add the ability for users to mint their cards as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Users won’t be required to mint their game cards (as that would slow down gameplay and add an unnecessary player expense), but the option to mint user cards will be there if players want to prove ownership or trade their minted cards on a blockchain. This feature will allow NanoMoon not only to offer a thrilling gaming experience but it will also provide an opportunity for players to earn ETH by developing and selling their cards.

Interoperability: NanoMoon NFTs are not limited to the game (although their functionality will be reduced outside of the game world). Once a card is minted, users will be able to trade and use them across various blockchain platforms, opening up a world of possibilities for the expansion of a user’s digital assets.
