Bounties before 2019 were great to work for because of the amount of money you can make from them. Now apart from a few most of them are a waste of time. You work for a month or more and you do not even make $50 from them. The last bounty that I joined was for atomic wallet and the amount that I made at that time was far better than what you can make now. It has now become the cheapest way for projects to promote themselves on social media and also on BTT.

2018 and 2019 was such great year for bounty hunters, that was a time that bounty hunters can get thousands of dollar worth of tokens because projects back then are all great and the bounty was given in time not when the price is already dumped and there were a lot of great projects that were launched on those years, now bounty hunters highest payout are few hundreds after 2 to 4 months of working, I haven't paid on the last two bounties I've worked until now, but I accept that this is the reality now of bounty hunting, it's like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.

I think some airdrops from reliable projects can be trusted and still have hope, But the truth is most of them are just fake and totally wasted, While in terms of bounties I believe that most bounties nowadays are not reliable and it was changed a lot compared before, because the budget of most bounties was reduced too much but the ironic part is the bounty managers is allowing too many participants for just a small budget bounty and in the end participants was just receive only a few peanuts. so I think doing bounties nowadays is just like a gamble if we get lucky enough we can hit the jackpot.

It is really difficult to rely on Bounty as a means of livelihood because payment/prompt payment is not guaranteed. It is a situation that is not encouraging for hunters. bounty hunting has become a real risk because you risk your time, energy and resources which you could have invested or channeled to some other thing. Because nobody forces anyone to join, you join at your own risk. However, I still believe that a more  reliable future lies ahead for hunters - where bounty payment can be rated up to 70%. for now, I rate likelihood of bounty payment at 30%.

I would say you never know about any Airdrop. You said right Airdrops are all about luck but honestly speaking I don't have many expectations from the Airdrops If getting paid I know most of them are worthless So I don't join Airdrops but I have full faith in the bounties. Airdrop is very unpredictable since we cannot its real value and many airdrop is just a scam, but if you’re lucky you might be able to participate on a legit airdrop that will give great value later on. I still believe on bounties, they are still profitable and risk free especially on a signature campaign where you don’t need to spend any money just do your job and you’ll be good.

As long as you are satisfied with what you are making, then it's always good for you. however, in general, bounty is not profitable as some still compare what they earn today to what they earn in the past, and of course they'll be discourage as bounty in the past is like we are making a fortune with our effort.

for some people they still rely on the prizes they get from airdrops, but there are also those who still rely on bounties because the tokens generated by the bounty have a clear future according to the roadmap of the bounty project. but not all bounty tokens are the same. Personally, I think both of them are positive and can provide benefits

Relying on bounties and airdrops alone gives me hard lessons to learn. I was that guy back then. I still remember the glory days of airdrops and bounties last 2017, until it starts to fall off the following year and I kept losing money because of that. Only a handful of airdrops and bounties right now are paying decently like what I’ve experienced with Poolz, Radix DLT, Student Coin, Dappradar, etc., last time.

I now just treat them as extra income instead of relying on them. We should maintain at least one stable job that would help us sustain our finances and treat airdrops and bounties as gigs on the other side. I have at least companies who paid me regularly despite that it’s still low but sustainable in a 3rd world country, and of course gaining sponsorships or paid promotions from other projects who would like to collaborate with me.

Never just stick on what you know. Try to excel even more. Learn more skills. Don’t compete with others, instead surpass yourself of who you are right now.

I agree with you now that there are many good bounties but I am disappointed with the bounties that are paid in stages because those who pay them in stages do not pay the full bounty hunter in the middle of the journey forgetting the bounty workers like citizens.

Current airdrop? I'm not saying that it is over but picking which airdrops will be successful will be very hard. I'm not saying that you can't get profit from it but if you will rely only on airdrops then it is not worth it. There are some airdrops that can still give people profits like Uniswap and others.

Hope for the future? Hmmmmm I don't think so.
Luck by joining the airdrop? I think there are still some who are trying their luck and joining in those airdrops but for me, its a waste of time. I have many things to do that can give me more money than joining in airdrops which has a low chance that you can get money from it.

Potential airdrops? Nahhh I'm unlucky with airdrops that is why I stopped joining on it a long time ago and I think its one of the best decisions that I've made .

To be honest i have stopped about caring for airdrops in 99% of the cases. I participated in the first few airdrops of coinmarketcap but to be honest in the end those are just marketing tools to get yourself registered on their exchanges and if i remember correctly then it even is a lottery now too and even if you win you get like 3$ worth of tokens for that so it's not really worth it. "Real" airdrops are barely happening anymore nowadays an airdrop per definition for me is, that you get free coins by only submitting your wallet address. I understand though that this is not feasible anymore because nowadays there are so many airdrop hunters around that would simply create 1000 wallets.

Well, that's a good question. I also asked it to a person who is like a big brother to me and I follow him as my mentor. Whatever quries I had, I just asked him, and when I asked him about this, he told me that in the crypto world, there is nothing useless and no time waster. You might not get your payment for your work, but if you do the same work for another project, you might get payment and that will help you to forget the scam. And he says we should try every section in crypto. Who knows which project will give us profit and which project might change our lives? And, while we know that 99% of bounty and airdrops are fake, if you continue to join every project, that 1% might be your pain reliever.you have no money to invest, then by earning through airdrop and bounty, you can invest that money in other good projects and you can also become an investor. I don't think relying on bounty alone is enough, considering the number of participants and the amount of the tokens they are distributing to the participants and the thing is that not all those coins were worth it or enough to make a living so for me relying on bounty or airdrop is not enough and wouldn't be enough. This is going to be rough when you're the one handling your monthly bills/rent. Maybe for some hobby sure, but some people are taking these stuffs too seriously. The number of participants outside the unlimited capacity will add up to a higher stake overall then it will be divided according to the number of participants, the bounty is no longer the main factor for income beyond expectations because of the impact of many low bounty ratings, so take time for other activities for trading and only join potential airdrops.

When coinmarketcap introduced airdrops I was excited thinking that finally a platform that we can rely on so i joined many airdrops from CMC but not a single one paid me later I found out they winners are randomly selected, heart broke it is.

I completely understand you, now, you have to understand one thing, the Airdrops were the best for the year 2017, it really was what was fashionable and everything was heading in that direction, for the year 2020-2021 everything moved in the direction of the NFT games, now what you should look for is the trend that will go this year 2022, maybe it is because of the metaverses, the metaverse games combined with the NFTs, I think that everything can come from there, however I think that any fashion or direction crypto that tilts the BTC and cryptocurrencies market will require a previous investment to be able to win, it is very difficult for you to win a lot in an Airdrop and I am sure that if you win in an airdrop what you will receive will be a fraction of a dollar or with lucky maybe 5 or 10 dollars.

Airdrops valuebility depends on the type, airdrops from big and reputable crypto companies like uniswap, 1inch, shapeshift, Remitano are the kind of airdrops that can be classified as valuable, airdrops from undeveloped projects are always 98 percent worthless, some are never even distributed to participants until the project itself dies.
I can say for sure that I've participated in several airdrops in the past, but I've never made any tangible money from them all, I've stopped participating In airdrops with projects that are not yet developed as it most times turn out to be a  scam.

I would agree with the notation that it largely depends on the bounty manager and the reputation of said manager. Furthermore, the project needs to have some funding behind it. Some random 100-dollar-company will have an obviously small team and a cheap looking project. I would definitely avoid projects like that.

On the other hand, big teams and many partners (especially investors like Venture Capitalists) are a big green flag that the project will bring out worthwhile tokens. A lot of them demand KYC nowadays, so that may or may not discourage you, as a bounty hunter.

Do your own research. Be safe.
