Which is a better platform? Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? Please explain why.

I think both of them are the best among other chains in cryptocurrency at the moment, the ETH chain does have a fairly expensive gas fee for now, but we can't deny that ethereum is still the ruler in terms of smart contracts and for now BSC is still very far behind ethereum, while BSC, I think only superior in terms of low gas costs while for other factors of course ethereum is still at the forefront in my opinion.

Of course Ethereum is much better.
Ethereum is supported by very experienced cryptography coders where we know it's a mission to build a world-leading product and make Ethereum an internet ressource.
Ethereum has so many coders integrated for a decentralized web.

Binance is a good exchange but it clearly can't compete Ethereum. Binance is very centralized and has no famous ambitions to keep it up to Ethereum. Binance Coin is just hype based on Binance's success so far and can't be compared to Ethereum.

Yes the reason other networks are gaining momentum is because of the scaling issues of Ethereum and this is the best opportunity for other networks to gain a good foothold in the market. BSC is doing that with their influence they have and some of the other chains have gained a lot of supporters as well.

Yeah, still Ethereum is the biggest community if comparing all about things without gas fee issue, but it’s a major issue on Etherum chain, And mostly users are going to left it because users can't afford such expensive gas fees. BSC is the most favorite for every users because of it’s cheap network fees so what BSC is baby for Etherum, here that's not a big matter i think.

Exactly! For many BSC is far better than ETH and they have their own reasoning, including me and I also invested and used both. For now ETH is leading but its gas fee as you guys mentioned is really high and discouraging for investors but it is not that they cannot afford but the money itself will be wasted. While BSC, is much preferred with its low gas fees and smooth system. That's why it is more attractive to the investors.

It is its advantage and that's why many are supporting this chain and investing more with BNB. But for Ethereum, it's taking long but even they're taking it too long.
There's still a lot of transactions happening and the fee is still tolerable for some reasons even we have no option. We just keep on transacting even if a transaction that we do requires around $4 or more just for the gas fee.

I am using Binance Smart Chain. I don't use the Ethereum chain unless I have to. Transfer fees are really high. I don't want to waste my money for nothing. But my choice will be Ethereum. Because Ethereum is the first successful product of the smart contract idea. BSC is a simple copy of Ethereum. Contributing to the cryptocurrency world, Ethereum always carries great potential in the future. Networks like BSC are just simple copies. There is no innovation they have added to the crypto money world.

Although BSC is growing rapidly but I think ETH is still the best, we can see that most big projects use the ERC20 platform, and I'm sure ETH's position will continue to survive even someday it can become king by beating bitcoin.

I choose eth
I prefer eth because eth is the best altcoin and I like projects that use eth as a platform because there are very few scams that I found there but the weakness for me is that gas costs are too expensive but apart from the expensive gas costs, the rest eth is the best for me.

Depends on what you're comparing them for.

ETH is clearly the more powerful chain in my opinion, with a lot more dApps and just people in its ecosystem compared to BNB.

But if you were yield farming as a retail investor I would definitely go for Binance just because of the cheaper fees. It is almost impossible to put transactions through without having to pay hundreds of dollars in fees when you're transacting on the ETH chain.

I agree that mostly big & popular projects was started with Ethereum blockchain because it’s very reliable network, but now most of the projects implemented multi chain as like BSC and Polygon. And now people’s can use their favourite and cheap network chain where they feel comfort with low transaction fees specially. I don’t see ETH can be competitor for Bitcoin never ever.

Clearly the BSC network is coming out much cheaper than the ETH network, the problem of the ETH network is enormous and in order to lower costs a great job has to be done, at least with ETH2.0 some solution can be seen, but the The congestion problem not only occurs with the ETH network, but also with the BSC network, the only thing is that all this occurred thanks to the huge number of projects based on the BSC network in 2021 which were mostly NFT games.

Both the ETH network, BSC as well as the nascent ones like Solana, Polygon, at the moment that congestion occurs, the fees will increase, the idea of all the betatests is that they can be considered as a general solution for this.

Besides transactions of course another factor is speed, with the cost of $12 to send ERC it took more than 10 minutes to reach 12 confirmations, whereas in BSC with 12 cents it only took 30 seconds to reach 12 cents, I've tried it many times, although still under ERC but I'm optimistic that BSC will beat ERC soon.

Each one of them has its use-cases: Ethereum is a virtual machine (network) to deploy smart-contracts and Binance smart chain is one of those running contracts in the Ethereum network. It's a little bit confusing to distinguish between both of them but i can understand how users prefer Binance Smart Chain over Ethereum because of the actual condition of Ethereum network who suffer from scalability issues which caused the augmentation of Eth Gaz fees to broadcast transactions.
To avoid ambiguities, Eth is the token developed to monitor the Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) and Bnb is the token developed to maintain the Binance Smart Chain

True. Everyone must choose BSC network because they are not happy with the current gas fee in Ethereum. Ethereum gas fee is never resolved, the price is still expensive. Both are very good.
ETH is considered the most secure and decentralized platform, but with congestion and slow transaction processing and high fees, people rarely use ETH for day-to-day transactions.
BNB has cheap transaction fees and fast processing speed. But in terms of decentralization, the winner belongs to ETH. It depends on your needs: those who trade often I think BNB will be more suitable, those who like safety and security can choose ETH.

Currently, ethereum only has a very large fee drawback. this is felt by ERC20 token users, including myself. however, despite that, currently we see in CMC, or CG, ethereum is still at the top of the altcoins, which means, Ethereum is still very widely used for now.
