We have seen today the disclosure of reports showing that the NFL lobbied the SEC on “issues related to blockchain technology” from July through December last year.

That was followed by the information that crypto is set to be heavily advertised during Sunday’s Super Bowl, as various cryptocurrency businesses are said to have spent millions to promote their products.

What kind of outcome do you expect after this lobbying?
Do you think the SEC will change the way it treats crypto?

Without any information about the lobbying, it is impossible to comment on it.

According to this article that says a lot of nothing:

What kind of outcome do you expect after this lobbying?
Do you think the SEC will change the way it treats crypto?
If the lobbying (fancy word for bribery) is successful then we will probably see cryptocurrencies and crypto related stuff being advertised in the Super Bowl which is going to be a big win for crypto because Super Bowl always garners billions of viewers. I don't think they will outrighr change the way they treat crypto but back to the lobbying, if it becomes successful then SEC might impose unsung exceptions to crypto.

Without any information about the lobbying, it is impossible to comment on it.
My guess is the NFL wants to make it easier for them to sell NFTs, probably so they can either sell tickets this way or sell them as an "upgrade" to tickets as an additional revenue stream.

I can't really think of any other reason why the NFL would care about blockchain technology.
