This time is the generation that people spend so much time watching through screen(through phones, laptops, televisions and other gadgets). Too much of the light rays emitted by these gadgets are not good for our eyes. It makes humans to develop eye problems in no distant time. This is why technology now has settings to mitigate the effect of the light rays(eyes care or night mood). You that is always on the screen, how do you manage your eyes. (1) You use glasses (2)You always reduce the gadgets brightness (3)You keep the screen far from your eyes (You do nothing)

Thank you for this enlightenment on eye protection as to prevent our eyes from damage from the light I recently got some anti-screen light protection glasses for my personal use to protect against eye strain.

You are right this is what most people suffer today, you will see young people having eye problem at early stage because of the kind of things we involved ourselves.

I spend a lot of time in front of the monitor to protect my eyesight i use blue light glasses and a curved monitor

I personally wear glasses, reduce my gadgets brightness and activate the Bluefilter/Nightmood starting from 7pm. But my eyes still get red and tired from the light rays. The best solution to avoid any eye strain is to stop looking at any screen at a certain time of the day... at least that's what worked for me.

My screen time is way too high. I really should do something about it, I always have good intentions but never back them up with actions. My eyesight isn’t great any way so I really should try harder to limit my screen time.

I definitely have noticed my vision getting worse over the last years as I’ve increased my screen time. I wear glasses in front of the computer most of the day because I’m staring at screens a lot for my job. After work, I typically wear contacts because it its easier for the gym and looks nicer when I’m out in my opinion.

I always do. I even wear special glasses. But my eyesight is still going down. I work all day in front of a computer, so there is no avoiding stress.

I try to limit my time online as much as possible. For personal purposes i prefer to make a normal calls and for work use microsoft teams sms which allows me to send different messages to the whole group of people at the same time. It is faster and easier and is definitely better for my eyes. Another thing which i heard from the eye doctor recently - never ever use your phone in the dark, the pressure on the eyes will be very strong then and it has a very negative influence on them.

Activating the blue light filter on your gadgets after a certain time of day is something that everyone should do. I also wear blue light blocking glasses if I know I’m going to be working on the computer for a long time at night. It makes a noticeable difference with how your eyes feel. I think those two things have to help, but of course the best solution would be to make sure you’re looking at some real life light from time to time.

I must say I use both phones at work and at home almost 14hrs a day, and laptop at work almost the whole 8 hrs too at work. I only realised one day that I was actually not having my sight as strong as before, then decided to start using red eye 👁️ on my phone and reduced brightness on laptop at work. I never thought if using glasses.
