The ones everyone is yelping about from newegg are Diamond brand. I'd say they are worth the price new, used $200. Most other brands ~$300 used.

The 7xxx series to me isnt looking to hot, but we'll know when they are publicly available.

FWIW, I've had nothing but good luck with all my Diamond cards.  In fact they've been the best cards I've had out of all of them (MSI, HIS, Sapphire) in terms of longevity and overclocking.  I OC'd my Diamond 5870 up to 1050MHz and ran it for half a year non-stop.  When BF3 came out I played it with the same card with absolutely no artifacting or any other shenanigans.
