I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin

I went to buy a phone with my friend today. Going there, Iphone 13 pro max became my favorite phone.  And arouses interest in buying. But I did not have enough money to buy that phone in my pocket. I laugh and talk about Bitcoin to the owner of that showroom. I was surprised to that the owner of that showroom want to sell his phone to me  for Bitcoin. And I asked him again, "Are you kidding me?"then He immediately gave me a bitcoin wallet to pay him. I paid him bitcoin and bought the Iphone 13 pro max.

Since the price of Bitcoin has come down a lot now, it has become foolish for me to buy the phone with Bitcoin.  Because for that I have to spend more bitcoin.  But still I am very happy to be able to do it.  Because in my country Bitcoin is still declared as an illegal currency.  Nevertheless, I got this advantage

I was on the same shoes as you- I was planning on getting the iPhone 13 using my BTC proceeds but at the back of my head, I am somehow losing the value of HODLing my BTCs for the future.

Unfortunately, I was not able to convert my BTCs to cash when its price reached $60,000. I had like $2,000 worth of BTCs in my wallet but it quickly plummeted down when its price crashed. After the crash, that was the only time that I was able to cash out my BTCs in which I wasted around $1,000 worth. Good thing you were able to purchase your phone using BTCs, OP!

Congratulations on your successful payment with cryptocurrency! Maybe you are not very accustomed to paying with cryptocurrencies. It is relatively common for countries that allow the use of cryptocurrencies to pay with Bitcoin. Luckily for you, you can still use bitcoin to buy things in your country that bans bitcoin, which shows that your country's control of cryptocurrencies is not very strict. It happened to me something similar as Op:
I was buying a phone to give a family member and the seller knows me that I use BINANCE APP and asked me if I wanted, I could pay the phone sending crypto from Binance Pay.

I did not make the payment with crypto because I had already exchanged my local currency. But on another occasion I will do the test to pay with Bitcoin or any other crypto.

Sometimes, you also have to consider spending crypto because its definitely its real purpose, to act as a currency and the way we are seeing it that its better to hold them for long defeat its real purpose. I'm glad OP has made his part. But i suggest, that if we try to use crypto to purchase something, see to it that its market value is also high as we won't be regretting selling our bitcoin in low value because its conversion rate is certainly low too. However, emergency cases is exceptional. You need to spend crypto when you think you can't afford it in fiat.
