well, their TOS are clear:

IIRC, it's with those issues about stake customer's complain that I've read, the customer is at fault and that's why they can't withdraw. They've broken the rules and that's why they're putting the blame onto the casino even though the real fault is at them. Highly suggest that you don't use a service with a VPN given that it will potentially mean a lot of trouble if they ask for KYC.

As what I understood on these blocked region, I believe if you are blocked to use the whole site, it is much risky to even try to use it with VPN. However if it is just some provider and slots are blocked on your region, then for me it is safe to use VPN. I always use VPN when I am playing with Pragmatic Play since my region is blocked. I see that some people want to scare you that you will have a problem if you use a VPN in some crypto casinos! Assuming OP balance is in USD, There's really chance that Stake will check on his account because he manage to grow his initial deposit 20x and withdraw it immediately the day after. And once they check OP account, They will surely notice that he is using VPN because it's easy to check the IP's coming from VPN since they are just using generic IP unless he is using a premium VPN. The use of VPN is not illegal. And while it is a case to case basis, gambling casinos do not completely ban VPN use. By using VPN services, gamblers are not automatically violating casino terms and conditions. I guess in most cases it becomes a violation because VPN is being used to avoid being detected that a gambler is playing from a blacklisted or restricted country. The latter is the violation, not the use of VPN.

I agree with this and believe that it is best not to use any type of software to change your IP address because doing so could result in you being banned and unable to receive your money. Try to find a website that is not blocked by your internet service provider, as most of the online gambling websites that I am aware of are VPN-enabled, and you should avoid breaking the law. Another point to note about KYC is that, provided you have a valid photo ID, you are good to go. I am afraid I am going to have to agree with the VPN warning here. Although personally, I have yet to hear of a VPN banned individual who was caught using VPN services or an online gambling casino which explicitely bans the use of VPN services, I would probably still play it safe and not use any kind of VPN.

These online casinos do sometimes seem to endorse and enforce arbitrary rules on what they deem suspicious activity. The use of VPN is not illegal. And while it is a case to case basis, gambling casinos do not completely ban VPN use. By using VPN services, gamblers are not automatically violating casino terms and conditions. The latter is the violation, not the use of VPN.

Not that it's always cracked down upon, definitely not. I know a lot of people who are using VPNs to get across to Roobet, Duelbits, or Stake. Even a lot of the American influencers are doing this given the fact that they are getting paid massive amounts of money to promote these gambling sites.

Many gamblers ignore the warning just because they are determined to try that gambling site and win some quick bucks.
While many websites might not be tracking their users if they are using VPNs but the others would be good at finding VPNs.
Once the funds are frozen they generally ask for KYC to get the funds out from the frozen state.
If the gambling website is genuine they release the funds once KYC is done and if not then those funds belong to the owner of the gambling website.
