I think BTC: 50% ETH: 25% , 15% BNB is good enough to invest in the long term the remaining 10% try the hit and run meme coins, take advantage of the hype of the coin but it takes carefulness in choosing this meme coin

If you're trying to play safe, then it's best to stick to the popular coin in the cryptocurrency space, which includes bitcoin, ethereum, binance coin etc. You also need to understand that the market is volatile and as such the value could drop significantly. The ratio depends on your liking, but I suggest you keep it higher on Ethereum since the return is better on this one compared to Bitcoin.

As you said that if you wanna play safe and then try to use top 10 coins as an investment except for the stable tokens that will not make your money grow. You can try to stick into some coins like avalanche, luna, solana or bnb. These coins are the safest place for you. If you can try to take a little risk with your money and then try to consider the top 100 CMC as your investment. Remember the greater risk and then the greater profit you can get it from the market.
I just try to suggest to you the best choice to be picked up by you when you are also wanna try to invest in it.
The choice is yours and remember you must always try to do your own research.

At the moment, it cannot be safer than Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the BNB. Here I agree with other members, Bitcoin will remain in the first place in the near future, for now, I do not see any other coin that could jeopardize that first place! Although I don't like Ethereum due to the large oscillations in the transaction fees it holds up pretty well and we know that ETH expects many additions and upgrades in the future! There is not much to say about the Binance coin, simply the strongest exchange office that is advancing day by day, I think it will go up a lot more!
I also agree with others that at least 10-15% should be focused on some not-so-popular coins that have great potential to become very popular! Of course, it's hard to choose the right ones, so diversify and find a couple of them and bet as much as you think is ok!

This is a pretty large amount. For starters you should familiarize yourself on how to manage your wallets and private keys of the coins of your interest. In the beginning I would stick to the "big ones" as other people already suggested (BTC, ETH, BNB) and to use only smaller amounts to get used to managing wallets and performing transactions.
Once you are confident there you could move to some more exotic coins or smaller caps from the Top100.

If you want to play an investment game that is not risky, then do not invest in meme coins or new projects or coins of projects that have been listed in weak exchanges, there are many promising coins that we hope will give good profits in the next three years such as Ethereum, Binance coin, Matic, MANA and Solana, and do not forget Bitcoin in the first place. The coins I mentioned are just predictions resulting from my analysis and not investment advice, so do your research first.

I would say do not invest any money in crypto. You should rephrase your question to: I want to blow $5000 a month for the next three years, suggest something to blow it on. I know this sound harsh, but if you are going to invest, then your emotion will be with it and then you will most definitely lose the money as you will worry each time it drops and sell low and buy high. Write off the $5000 per month and put it in the coins suggested above, although I would add Polygon (Matic) to the list. If you lose it you smile and don't feel bad and if you make money you smile a bit more. Go long and don't flinch if someone coughs.

I'm not an experts so don't take my advise seriously. But if you want to be a successful crypto holder, it's obvious that you need to have at least BTC and ETH on your portfolio, majority of your money should be invested on them. Why? because it is already a proven formula. And then mix it up with some solid coins, maybe in the top 10 as per CMC. Best of luck in your journey in becoming a holder!. Just remember that there are risk involved here so you may want to think that into consideration.

If truly you want to play a safe game as much as possible then go with the biggest boys around like BNB, ETH and BTC, if you want more then go with smart contract projects e.g Polkadot, Terra Luna and Solana.

Look, since we are taking about an important sum of money my advice is that you take your time before entering this market as it seems you do not really know much about it.

After all if you knew a little bit about it then it would be easy to figure out the easiest strategy that you can implement with that much capital, and that is buying bitcoin and just hold it, if you could invest so much money in bitcoin during the next 3 years and you were able to hold your coins then you will still obtain some very good profits during that time frame while incurring a very low risk.

$5k every month for next three years that's $180k in total which is not a small amount, i would recommend you to first learn about crypto because see you have mentioned you want to pump in $5k every month for 3 years in a row and at the same time you are saying you are not a risk taker ? Because crypto and risk goes hand in hand, I could only think of Bitcoin and ETH for minimal risk but again just one bull run can send the price sky rocketing and bear market can plunge market into chaos. Knowledge about crypto market is mandatory to minimise risk while investing into it.

It's a bit ridiculous that you would invest such amount of money an every month even without knowing anything just depend on other people’s recommendation. Whatever, i would like to suggest you, only will pick a several coins those will be most safest for the long term investment as like BTC,ETH,BNB,MATIC and DOT, i think will be best at least in the next 3 years.

wanna be a lot more safer in terms of investing you should just stick with the already available option that is staking in already reputable and famous platform like CAKE where you could literally gets quite high return of investment with relatively safe from volatility considering its trading volume and market capitalization that are quite big.
honestly, stablecoins are enough in growing your capital for long term, but most of the time, people aren’t as patience for waiting their investment to grow but the shorter way of growing your investment means increasing the risk of losing your investment, either choose staking in defi platform or just stake stablecoins its all up to your preferences.
