I'm not sure if it happens in 2022 because we have experienced it one year before, if it happens it will make cryptocurrency grow unhealthy and many people don't want to buy it if every year the price continues to be hit by ATH.
In 2022 we should continue to be in a bear market even though some coins go up by tens of percent that doesn't mean it will break through ATH because the chances are small.
For now the only movement that can be trusted is bitcoin, although the possibility of ATH happening again this year is small, it doesn't mean it's impossible if bitcoin continues to show green on the chart.

There is nothing wrong with breaking ATH every single year, that could be done, the problem would be not going down after that. As long as we have a 50% drop every year, we could have a 2x increase every year as well. I personally believe that we have done a good job so far and I believe that if this year has a 70k or so price, and then have a bit of drop? That would be perfect.

It both allows people to make a profit, and also a place where they can enter once again later on. This may not be a simple task, but it is certainly the task I believe that could happen. This doesn't mean that we should expect it to happen, it just mean there is nothing stopping it.

The possibilities will always there. There's no need to rush about that. Altcoin and bitcoin can slowly go up again once the market will not care anymore about the bad news that came to the market.
You may see another new ATH will be achieved by altcoins and bitcoin soon. This may come soon once global market is also in a healthy market and people will ignore the war between ukraine and rusia.
I think that the whales are also starting to enter into the crypto currency market as well. It can be seen from some tokens that were increasing so high in hours.

We've had an impressive 2021 ATH, but that doesn't mean we have to enter a bear market with this year. There is no basis for us to say that will happen.
Depending on the world economic situation and related factors will affect the market. No wonder if the market this year continues to increase when the inflation situation is high in many countries.

Nobody can do it and we can only guess and get ready to follow the market moves.
But today's movement in bitcoin is influencing some altcoins to go up and some of them are trying to break the price higher.
We don't know yet if many altcoins can reach the last ATH again or it will take time but what is clear is it's good now to take advantage of the coins we have held before.
But sooner or later, that altcoin will surely hit the last ATH again and create a new ATH and it will also happen to bitcoin.

I think that we will probably not see new ATH's for Altcoins in 2022, even though i would hope that is is that way, because my portfolio mainly consists of small cap altcoins that are down more than 90% at the moment in comparison to their ATH back in may of 2021. I think that we need a few months of a stable sideways or even a little positive market for BTC before we will see the Altcoins rise again too. If Altcoins beging to rise, then usually the bigger projects like Ethereum are the ones that are beginning to rise first and then we have to wait another few weeks until the smaller cap altcoins also will begin to rise. At least that is how it was in the previous bull markets.

But it all depends on bitcoin; if bitcoin begins to cross its ath, altcoin will undoubtedly follow suit.Because when bitcoin crosses its all-time high, obviously people will start to talk again and more hype will be created. I think for this year it is very unlikely that all altcoins can reach ATH recently, seeing the market that is in decline then to take back the trend in 2020-2021 it will be difficult to happen, but we will see developments in the future because this year there is still a lot of time to look for changes even though currently there are no big signs that will happen, so we just follow the current flow and always hope we are in a positive trend.
