While it would mostly be better if you go with something you're interested in, money-wise probably programming(not necessarily blockchain-related) would be best. Demand is always there and will always be there, and is highly likely to just continue to increase year by year.

Check on udemy and coursera. You'll get to have an idea of what skills you want to gain and what are in demand. The courses there would be costing you not that much but AFAIK, there's free but when it comes to certification, you really are required to pay.
But don't consider that as costly thing because it's part of investment while learning a new skill for which you'll use to gain another source of income and service to offer.

I guess it boils down as to what you really love, not what is the latest trend that will give you good money. If you love blockchain, so go for learning software languages. I will just tell you base on m experience, I used to do freelance work years ago about SEO and everything related to it. So I enroll on online courses while taking some projects so really understand and to deliver quality output to my clients.

Since you aren't sure or don't know the skills or interest you think you have, then find it right by browsing some works on that platform where you are looking for freelance jobs. From there, you will see those most works that have a quiet demand there.

Check the details of each work and see if, by any chance, you will have an interest in the involved work there. Then began working on improving and enhancing the skills required for it. You will know if you are ready to take that job once you feel comfortable with it.

Sometimes you have to work outside your comfort zone. It doesn't mean that if it's outside your skill, you won't be comfortable with it. That's the challenge.

There are some good sites like picoworkers, fiverr, upwork etc who can promote your writing skills and you can get paid. There is no gaurantee that it will pay you at good rates or on the monthly basis but since it is freelancer work it will have the pros and cons.

If you are willing to do any courses then you should checkout website coding, digital painting artist, resell work with dozens of sites out there.

From the name I see you belong to India. You can always work with Meesho, Yaari, etc who allows you to resell the products which are listed on the site itself. Do some research on the same and you may find right product for reselling.

Programming is the best skill that makes the most money imo. Sure you can make money by writing articles too but your usd/hour rate will be lower than what you make from programming so it is not the most efficient way to go imo. You can make a lot of money from anything if you can build a solid customer portfolio. Lots of people don't even work, they open a youtube channel and go full retard. People like to watch retards too, if your stomach can handle this there is a lot of money to be made there.

Before I give you some of my advice as an experienced freelancer, let me tell you a story of mine on how I got started my career and developing my skills.

During my college days, my dad only gave me a weekly allowance of $10 + my late grandmother who also give me extra $2 per week that time for a total of $12. I didn’t learn how to save money that time (I did for once just to buy a cheap colored Nokia phone that took me a very long while to afford it). For a 3rd world country, the amount was already decent to buy cheap food and drinks in the university canteen. I usually walk from home to the university and vice versa since it’s kinda near to me. I encountered freelancing for the first time when my friend called me from home that he saw some extra sites that could make me some extra money, and I was intrigued by it.

In the university, I go to an IT department building where students can use the computer and internet for a limited time (no games allowed lol). During my extra time, I researched about freelancing like I could earn an extra $2, $5 or $10 for a simple task. In my mind, those amounts are already “big” for a college student in a 3rd world country. I started learning on how to do data entry, forum posting and other simple tasks.

I remembered that the first task I got was a simple forum post and I earned $2+. And yes, I was happy! I already have a Paypal and bank account back then. Then I kept searching for more tasks, earning $3, $5, $10, etc., until there’s a client who is looking for a forum poster in his travel forum offering $30. I applied and he accepted it. When I finished the work and he gave me $30, I was super happy! Then he offered me a monthly work of $50 for maintaining the forum with some posts. Since we don’t have internet at home, I usually do the work within the university’s IT department computer station.

Despite that my dad didn’t want me to do extra work (and money) and likes me to focus on graduating first, it’s where I finally felt that a weekly allowance of $10-$12 isn’t enough. Something tells me that I can do more than that. But of course, I didn’t left out my studies. I managed my time for both studying and working. And yes, I did graduated in college.

During that time, I see that there are lots of article writing opportunities that pays more. I didn’t have any experience yet, but I was eager to learn. I started doing writing gigs for clients. Despite that my English isn’t fluent, I still managed to get paid for a decent looking article.

After that, I was asking myself on why others are getting paid more than me even if it’s just 500 words? I was curious. So I kept improving my skills as an article writer until I got a good paying client who paid me $300 to $400 a month because of the quality articles I’ve written. But sad to say that the project didn’t last long. Because of that, I am urged to learn more skills like doing video editing, managing clients and customers, graphic designing and so much more.

Fast forward to today, I am more passionate in doing video editing. I learned how to increase my video’s clickthrough rate (I am still getting there), attractive banners and thumbnails, giving value to viewers and subscribers, etc.

Regarding my advice to you, upgrade yourself and don’t be just satisfied on the current level of skill you have. Don’t just stick to what you have if you are not happy of your current income. Have self-confidence. Be expandable and eager to learn more. Empty your cup by spending time training and practice more to become a successful freelancer that clients are hungry to offer your services in the future.

Ask yourself on why others are successful and getting paid more than you even if it’s just for article writing. Instead of asking, “I can’t do what other successful people are capable of.”, try something like “How can I be like them?”. Once you’ve asked that to yourself, for sure you’re going to gather a lot of ideas and brainstorm it. Take it one day at a time. It’s not an easy journey, but one day it’ll be worth it and inspire others to do the same.

     Search for what's most in demand. Then go get some free courses with free certificates for whichever skill you want to learn you can go for a single one or multiple ones to upgrade your résumé. Best sites I can recommend are Udemy, google skillshop, coursera, Oxford home study centre, hubstop inbound marketing certification and lastly code camp. Now the era has become more sophisticated and indeed there are some things that can be done only online. I think this will be a little difficult when it doesn't match what you are interested in but when you are now an article writer, do I think you can also become Copywriting or indeed something related to writing.
But I quite agree with what @mk4 said when he said Programming now I think it's promising to do but it needs a process in learning more in my opinion when indeed we don't have a base there.

I think you can look into what you have passion for and build yourself more. You need better and more focused training if that is the career that you want. Freelancing is more of side jobs but it can put food on your table when your main source of income is down, so it is better to take it seriously. There are different online programs that you can learn.

It is understandable that you want to earn more, however you need to take into account what are your current skills and what you could learn in a reasonable amount of time, just to give an example, programming is probably one of the best skills that you could learn in order to make some additional money, however it is not easy to learn on your own while the competition is also fierce, and if you are not interested in the topic then chances are you will not become good at it even if you dedicated a significant amount of time to it.

Aside from the upwork site, he can search freelance jobs within his area. Because it is better to look for other freelance jobs that are near your area because it means, you can get your payment easier as you know your area well. You can even meet-up those persons requiring your services. So before you go to online sites, check first in your area. Somebody may need your skills nearby, who knows?

It depends on your interests. Having interests aligned with your goals makes everything much easier. Wheras having goals which do not align with your interests will make things difficult.

Seems to be the best advice, however it does also require skills to convaince people to trust you and a minimum of knowledge to check the works done by the people you will hire. You are in the right track since digital marketing is one of demanded job in this space but don't expect that you can get the job easily as many people around the globe also seek for a job for some position in related to that job so better enhance your skill and show some uniqueness so that you can get hire among those many applicants. I guess it is the thing you love most of a job that you should be taking serous of. I learned so many skills already and it these certificates are just to be forgotten. I became a business man because this is what I love. Selling and being an entrepreneur gives me happiness and satisfaction and life. It is also a bit of a coincidence as well. I had no idea what I was capable of, or what I could be doing online. One day I was here and wrote something and someone replied and we have been working for many years. It was good luck that brought us together, but hard work and love that kept us for so many years.

I have seen a lot of people who suffer from the problem of choosing a subject while learning to freelance.
They choose the things that are most in-demand and then they can't make a good career, cause they can't do good at that subject.

It is very difficult to have passion and work together. I think no one wants to give up their passion but sometimes because of life we will give up our passion to run after another job as long as it brings financial balance to you and our family. It would be good  that you would be touching up a certain career if it do really fits out your interest or passion because it would be something that would really make you persevere on learning up things

For me I think the most in demand jobs nowadays when it comes in freelancing is web development, graphic designing, copywriter and online teaching. But you still need to know first what kind of freelancing job are you interested and then from that start knowing all the necessary skills in order to end up to that freelance job. C is much harder that JAVA basing on what i have studied and its true that computer related courses does really have more demand compared into other courses as well on which it is really that advantage to those people who had get computer related course.

yeah that's right. I am also one of the people who lost my job due to the pandemic. and many factories were closed.
but I am grateful that at that time I was able to get out of a job that was actually forced to work there because considering how difficult it was to get a job.

I never worked in my actual field until I get into crypto. This is why I love bitcoin so much, if you have a talent for something then you could make money with it, and even improve it and become better as well. Doesn't mean that it should be something related to crypto directly, it could be totally irrelevant and you could still get paid in crypto.

I am guessing that there is a good case to be made about him being a scammer as well. There are tons of people who end up scamming others by getting them to PM them and get curiosity. That's the thing about scamming, if you attack someone with PM's and all that, then they will ignore you, especially in the crypto world.

However, if you make someone wonder about you, and then come to you, then you already have them in your pocket. In any case, freelancer is not something you need to PM someone about, it's just freelancing, go search which jobs are getting paid how much and which jobs get jobs easily and focus learning that if you want to, end of the story.

As I mentioned before, it is a bit about having enough time, and also passion as well. Like for example if I worked harder, which I could, I could finish my job under 4 hours everyday, would be risky because I do not want to provide lower quality, I am always worrying about low quality work, I need to do my best and I hope that I do, at least I am trying my best, nobody can say that if I ever did a mistake, it was because I didn't care about my job, I always care, I take 10 hours for a work I can finish in 4 hours.

However, assuming lets say my only aim was making more and more money. Don't let anything stop you from following your passion no matter what age you are. Nowadays, it is almost never too late for you to pursue the career you want. For instance, I am 30+ years old. People my age are supposed to be settled into the middle-class in their 40s but I am not there yet, yet have almost put my roots there. That is because I knew what I want from my life. What you say is true, we shouldn't have to ask other people what skills we have to learn in order to get a job. While other people do not know us well,
so we should be the ones who can determine what skills to learn. Which only we know what is best for ourselves. So start asking ourselves, we are
actually comfortable learning what and what we like, because learning something if we don't like it and only because of the encouragement of others,
