@op, typing from my own personal experience, I really don't understand what the rant is all about, I've been a user here since 2016, and though sometimes, the forum seems slow but it's always due to my poor network signal or connection, and even at this, it's never been as bad as you make it seem like, there are many times that my network signal becomes so bad that I loose connection to several other websites but surprisingly, my connection to this forum is still maintained.
So I personally would say that, if you are experiencing this problem, then check properly and see if it's not from your end.

One have to admit the cloudflare is annoying. When using TOR very often it goes refresh the browser and checks with cloudflare which is annoying and in some cases if you do not save your post then it just lost. But I think we are used to it. I always Ctrl+C for my text before posting them. In any case of cloudflare check I reload the page and Ctrl+V the post then submit. There are not much option for admin to avoid ddos attack without using the cloudflare. Other than that everything works just fine.

OP's rant is he is trolling. We have seen users to behave like this when they get so many red tags. It's normal.
