95 seconds describing a good bit of bitcointalk.org

:-) I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Depends on who you're talking about Tongue I like being proven wrong via mathematical and historical evidence which is what I use in a lot of my arguments, or for that matter basic observation, usually I call them morons when they decide to ignore that because frankly I think you have to be to ignore reality.

A serious of unfortunate assumptions.

If I go to YouTube I might waste too much time on other videos; If not watching it is wrong, too bad.
If the forum would let us imbed videos, then we could watch them here.
Clearly the decision to not allow imbedding is wrong?
...or would we waste too much time watching here?  Huh

Self control, man.

Or simply: enjoy "wasting time".

Or trick yourself: Schedule a task, opening your favorite bitcointalk.org thread in 5 minutes from now - and only then hop into that video :-)

You are correct.
There are only a couple days a month when I waste the whole day, and Youtube is not a primary destination.

I don't have an issue with being wrong.  I'd like to be the first one to know about me being wrong or as close to first as possible.

The other problem is that we believe that we have insight into the motives of others, but others cannot see or understand our motives. That's why it's always easy to say things like "Other people have abortions because they are bad, but I had an abortion because of my unique situation and I'm good."

As for Gallelio, he was not punished by the Church for the Earth around the sun thing. He was punished because he was a flaming dick-head.

Just to clarify - as a relative newbie still, I wonder if I have overlooked a forum rule.

Is it frowned upon to link to videos from bitcointalk?
