IIRC, there were.

But it's not really refunding as the usual feature that they have. Mostly, it's a promo that they'll have so that users would be actively and aggressively going to gamble on them for just a specific period of time.

Yup. Just like what the title says. I have recently been recommended or referred (since it was a referral link that got me to register) by a friend of a friend into an online sports betting site. Being new to such things, I thought I should ask opinions from veterans here whether such things do exist or not. Although that friend claims that he had already made huge amount of cash from this site, I am still pretty skeptical and haven't topped up yet. But I gotta admit it is pretty fun and appealing to me, just wanna make sure before I put some money into it.

Either you are a scammer, your friend is a scammer, or that site is going trying to sucker in as many depositors as possible before running with everyones money. The very fact that you are even suggesting that a sportsbook returns your money on losses and presumably returns your money plus extra if you win, makes me think you are in on this whole scheme. Simple logic will tell you that sportsbooks are not a charity, they are around to make money and how exactly are they making any money if they just give back bets if people lose? The very basis for placing a bet is the element of risk, the sportsbook accepts the bet because they find an acceptable price for taking on the risk that they will win instead of you. You really deserve full red trust for pedaling such ideas.

Casinos and bookies are business that operates with a specific edge over time, how it is possible refunding the losses when a player loses. Maybe it is a referral system based on a player's loss and they keep refunding the losses till reaching the specific quota. Just my personal guess, it will be interesting to understand how the mechanism works. Sportsbooks are not charity organizations, when you lose it is gone unless you are streamers make money from other people's lost money. We do have that rakeback or cashback which is something that we do really have on this market but we know that given funds arent that great which might OP doesnt really prefer or do really mind off

about some return of money when you do lost.Its true that these things are businesses and not charity on where you do lost and give out your funds back which is totally bullshit.
This isnt how the business works and if you are really that making this thing serious then you shouldnt have gambled in the  first place.

I find it Good to be true actually because how could a Business man will give back the Money His costumer already Paid Him from the service he brings?

In my years of gambling experience, even before cryptocurrency gambling existed, I have never heard of a gambling website (or even a physical casino) that returns your money when you lose.

Given the nature of these gambling websites, it is imperative to know that these are "businesses" in which their aim is to profit. With that kind of scheme, how can they possibly profit from this system? Where is the so-called "risk" that makes gambling websites profitable in the first place?

I really do believe that this kind of method is nothing but a scheme devised to at least scam people in the process. I visited the site and it looks nothing like a sports-betting website; it's like they putted a random sporty image and some numbers telling you to withdraw.

Such sites will not last long because they have to return the money their users lost due to gambling and they will spend a lot of money.
After all, I am sure many gamblers will play on that site.
It could be that people who are late to join will get scammed because the casino has already lost a lot of money paying off the losing gamblers.
So if we find such a site, it's better not to try to play there just because their offers look very attractive.

I think the same, I mean a legitimate casino could offer to return a small percentage of each bet lost to their VIP customers as a way to show their appreciation, but to return every single bet in full is something that is not possible, casinos are a business and as such they have costs of operation to cover and they do that with the wins they get over the players, so a casino that always returns the money the player losses must have some other source from income, and that source of money seems to come from scamming their customers.

So, this thing really works? That's cool then, I thought this is just a hoax. I remember a receive a mail from some gambling site that I only visit once. The email says risk free bet, is that the same thing? Even this only happens rarely I think the casino will lose a lot of money from this because many gamblers are going to get interested with this limited time offer. The bad thing is that those gamblers won't visit the gambling site after this.

This is not a good promotion in the side of the gambling site. I can see that there are users above that complain about scams. We need to be careful because they can use this "return money" tagline to attract and scam users.

There's no other way that they could get other source of income for them to patch up whenever they do really make out some full return of bets then its really impossible and just been said that this isnt a charity

but a business that do really need for them to make profits or revenue to patch up on operation cost and salaries of staffs or whatsoever which its impossible that they would be giving cashbacks

I am pretty sure they find other creative ways to screw you over. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Either their rates suck or they randomly enforce KYC or something else. This kind of stuff won't let the casino make any profits and if the casino can't make profits it will go bankrupt. Since the house can't go bankrupt, in end it must be the players that pay for this feature. You are wise to be skeptical about this.

OP, never descibed how the mechanics of the sports betting site returns your money. Maybe the "sports betting" part is just a ploy for people to deposit their money, and the "site" is actually a Ponzi, or a Pyramid Scheme.

Plus the site currently shows an "Error 1020: Access Denied". The site owner is probably limiting who can access the site, or limiting from what regions can access the site.

As others here have said just keep in mind that there tends to be “catches” with every type of offer when it comes to getting money back. Now I personally don’t know of any online casinos, or offshore casinos I should say, that give some losses back ,but I do know some of the biggest players like FanDuel will give a small amount lost back but only on your very first bet I believe. All of the other money back opportunities that I know of tend to be bonuses.

I am trying to check the site from @OP but it seems the site is going offline. I do not know when the site is offline but I think they can not sustain their business since they need to pay gamblers who lose their money on their site. That's merely a promo, a strategy to encourage more occasional users to try their service. All of the other money back opportunities besides bonuses are in "cash backs". They are amounts of money given back to the user, which are based on how much fees were paid by that user on a monthly duration. OP's site is different, the title literally says "return your money when you lose".

Being in LMB for a while now, I just understood that the one who invuted us are giving signals and I haven't experienced losing yet and so I cannot tell anything about the full refund yet when you lose yet. No one ever mentioned it ever since I joined. Now I am thinking, maybe that friend of friend just added the full refund when losing just to make his referral more appealing.  Anyway with all the issues appearing on LMB right now, I'm just waiting to see what'll happen in the coming days. Won't take out the money just to see what'll happen which may benefit people who are curious like me abiut these type of things.

I am not sure about the site and still skeptical about it though returning money promotion is not new in sports betting especially for new players like on your first bet they would return 100% of your bet if you lose but with higher odds and they will pick a certain game and they have limited minimum bet like $20-$50 only.

One of the few indicators of an illegitimate betting comapnies are enticing benefits that attracts people. If they keep giving back losses how would they pay thier bills or make profit, except they have other means of making profit which is unlikely. Just like Ponzi schemes they might give you back your loses which would spur you to keep betting. One-day you might bet with a large sum and you would not get it back when you win or lose.
