As long as freedom speech is improved upon then I think this is a good move, and I am not only thinking about the impact this could have in bitcoin and dogecoin, it is more healthy for the society in general that people are able to express themselves and share their ideas without the fear of the ban hammer coming for their heads if they happen to think differently than the owner of the platform, so we will have to wait and see what comes out of it, but my first impression is that this is a good thing.

It would be pretty bad effort for pure manipulation to spend $44 BILLION just to move dogecoin 20% for a moment. I see it more like a power play of a richest man in the world to get to play with his rules in his favourite platform. Freedom of speech is a nice angle and so is revealing algorithms, but i hope that doesn't backfire on quality as bots and disinformation learns to use algorithms for their benefit.

Also there's an issue that Elon's version of free speech might restrict to things he likes.

I hope he will be successful with removing bots i am not holding my breath because his pland for authenticating every human in twitter doesn't sound very realistic.

I see bitcoin and altcoins also rising slightly after this news, doge will benefit the most as doge is Elon's favourite coin. Twitter is considered the most favorite social network of crypto investors, most of the activities will be updated on Twitter first. I think with Elon's management, Twitter will become even more beneficial for bitcoin and crypto.

I personally think that this has nothing to do with crypto at all. It still seems though like the crypto market is reacting pretty positive to this news. I also had a twitter account a few years ago that was banned even though i definitely was not a bot i only did a lot of tweets and retweets about crypto stuff and back then this was enough to ban my account for ever. As long as freedom speech is improved upon then I think this is a good move, and I am not only thinking about the impact this could have in bitcoin and dogecoin, it is more healthy for the society in general that people are able to express themselves and share their ideas without the fear of the ban hammer coming for their heads if they happen to think differently than the owner of the platform, so we will have to wait and see what comes out of it, but my first impression is that this is a good thing.

I really doubt that Twitter really cared much about him popularizing crypto did they? I mean maybe I am not aware of anything like that, maybe it happened but I wasn't made aware of it, or never saw it.
