Decisions you could make on a bear market.

1. Hold your position (If you have bought on higher price)
2. Buy on the dip (This is where people boggled up their minds in regarding with bottom price)
3. DCA
4. Dont care nor make yourself stressed on this particular times.

Each decision would be made will be entirely be depending on someone because not all would really be
ending up on the same results whenever they do follow someone.It all matters into your own

Be Tethered or in any other stable coin if you smell that the bear market is about to come but if it's too late then don't convert and just let it be on its form.
And you choose altcoins that you're going to buy, if somebody tells you to buy this coin then you don't have to follow them quickly, that's how you apply DYOR.

If bear market and you already have assets that you bought at a higher price then better don't sell and decide to hold them for a long period of time. My guess bull market will come again after a few years or after block halving.

But if you want to stay active in a bear market shorting is the only thing that I know to survive in a bear market but you need to have timing when to buy and short.
There is no perfect strategy in a bear market but HODL is always suggested by most people and buying at a dip is the solution to make a profit when the bull market comes.

Buying random coins from the top 100 list will not be effective, yes you understand the method properly but you also have to find the right coin not just any coin.

And there is no safe asset in the cryptospace,you have to take the risk to get the rewards.

If you're not ready to risk everything then just buy bitcoin when it at its red then wait for green days which may happen in short term or long term.

Dips are something natural in the market, you just have to hold your position or re-invest in another coin temporarily. IMO, the best thing and very safe option are to hold for a long-term position until the price will resist and back to the bullish trend.

Another option is to simply do nothing for the time being and wait until things improve, newbies without a doubt are nervous about buying right now as the last weeks have not been very good for bitcoin, and while the strategies that you give are without a doubt good ones they need someone with some experience to be able to perform them correctly.

So newbies could just wait out the bear market and only invest once they are completely sure a recovery is underway, they will not get into the market at the best price possible but at least the market conditions should be way better at the time they finally decide to invest in the market.

Converting it to a stable coin, a reputable one should do the job.

But I know the confidence isn't the same as before because of the fall of UST. But there are still recognizable and good stable coins so, if you want a decentralized one, DAI is there to help.

If you want a centralized one, BUSD is likely the best choice and then USDC. They're actually backed with real money and they are known institutions and registered trademark.

- just buy the dip but don't make a trade now - too risky putting into the situation and especially if you are just learning to trade
 - choose the best coins - just look in the top 10, not in the top 100 as you just found shitcoins there.
 - don't make use of stablecoins as for gateway, they are not safe anymore

The bear season isn't a good time to make a trade, maybe you can practice in a small amount but not in a thing you have to put everything on it. Yet, this rather is the time for accumulation.

Lol! It's not really a good time for trading. It's a time of accumulation to be honest. Day trading un bearish market is really risky unless you use a mix of short and long call. So I would rather recommend you to accumulate more of your favorite cryptocurrency. That will help you in medium term when the market fires up!

Please remember the trend. ATH was 22k and ATL was 3k during previous cycle. Now the ATH is 69k and ATL seems to have strong suppor5 at 30k level. That's why I am saying to accumulate.

Trading can be done at anything but for hodlers, it is really time to acquire more coins. As for the hodling it is playing out like the last halving in 4/5 years ago, I think we have seen a bottom that is very close to turn things around. We have seen $40k broken and $35k too now we are in the area of $30k, all it needs is to have strong hands buying in again after taking there profit.

No one knows how safe your assets are because it depends on what your coins are. Even bitcoin will not be safe for you because the price of bitcoin will also definitely go down, let alone altcoins.
