In a pre bear market, is never a good decision to buy anything. I say pre bear market because btc crashed below 29k 2 days ago which in a bull market was the bottom and soon 29k will be the top in months to come, btc likely will crash below 10k in few months before it goes up again.

If you have been following some great project before bear market and you noticed that the price is very cheap in bear market. I can say those ones can be safe to buy. Moreover, a good project don't really persuade people to invest like satoshi don't force people to invest in Bitcoin.

I see such threads trying to spread this notion once everyday in this section. Point is that seasoned bitcoin traders know these are dying signals of a shitcoin and how to mercilessly avoid them. Every trader should know this and learn.

Good thing you learnt your lesson. In the bear market many things are tested, one of which is the psyche of the trader and how they react to changes in prices.

I would be buying bitcoin if it drops below 25k which seems possible at the current price range. But I will not be buying any shitcoin, adding them to portfolio means adding in more risk and undue frustration.

Thanks for the advice but its too late, I already lost 140$ to Luna today, I thought I was buying at a cheaper rate, thinking price will recover nicely but I was damn wrong, the only thing I did better was not using all my money, I knew how dangerous that would be lol.

Sorry about that, I just finished reading about Luna too. I bet they had many victims thinking it was just a big normal dump but the truth is it was an exit dump. You cannot stay regretting what you did. Move on and make a new investment. I suggest something on the top list of altcoins,
For me, Ethereum had been a great choice since Day 1 so I recommend you buy that first before going forward into choosing another altcoin that you want to buy.

I would be buying bitcoin if it drops below 25k which seems possible at the current price range. But I will not be buying any shitcoin, adding them to portfolio means adding in more risk and undue frustration.

It is very risk when we add altcoins to the bag because it will be a big loss in my opinion so I still decide on bitcoin to buy when it has turned to $25k, I have also prepared to buy it.

Of course, investors talks about making big money in bull market. But they never share their secret in a bearish cycle. It's because that is the perfect opportunity to fill your bags will a lot of cheap and solid altcoins and then hold till the next bull run. I have to learn this hard facts, specially ETH, when they where price <$100 2018 and then suddenly goes for all time high in 2021. So I will not repeat those same mistakes, so I'm going to invest while they are cheap and just HODL them.

thanks for your advice... the market is currently in the red zone and it is impossible to predict when it will end but scammers will definitely take advantage of moments like this to create new coin/token projects claiming they are the saviors.  for now, it's hard to trust altcoins, especially those that are just emerging, it's riskier.

This dump is one of the best examples that Bitcoin and Ethereum will always stay. As you can see the percentage of a drop of these 2 high market cap cryptocurrencies is really low compared to other altcoins that already lost more than 50%..
Lesson learned, avoid some low market cap coins, especially on the bear market because you are just like catching falling knives, it doesn't mean that it is cheap, it is already good to buy.

I don't understand your argument here. You should be buying undervalued cryptos right now, like ICP and FTM, if you want to get rich, which you will when they return to their previous ATH.

Thanks for your advice Mate, I do believe it really happens because I also experienced this kind of situation, I was bought a particular coin in 2019 and held it in my wallet in a hope that it will rise again just like what happened in the 2017 Bullrun but after months and a year have been pass it was no improvement on the coin price instead it slowly dipped from time to time and eventually the coin dies in the process the coin was still in my old multi-coin wallet and every time I see it I feel bad.

During the bear time is when some developers get to introduce some shit cheap coins and push it out through telegram. This is a time for scamners making fast money but not all the coins will come back alive after this bear this way has become a tradition for cryptocurrency. It is good doing investment with the high value coins, they are still cheap now instead to go waste resource on shit alts.

You said something very important advice.I like your word.There are many altcoin in the beer market.But finding good project from there has not become so easy.Many have been cheated with the beer market.Myself have been the victim of this deception many times.So i have many experience about this.I think we are need to be careful invest/buy/sell any token.

Any good project that manages to stay alive in bear market and still introduce some great stuff are worth every penny, the best time to look for gems are in a bearish market, though all this is just for profit's sake, I dont buy the idea of long term hold anymore, if you want long term hold please and please buy Bitcoin.

True, buying in stages would be the best option in this bear market, because it would minimize risk compared to buying all at once. Anyway we have to find out what is going on so we can at least know when to go in and buy some bitcoins or altcoins. It's just that I personally will not buy altcoins that have a high risk.
