ADA is old already and it still performing well. While Avax has a growing performance that caught the attention of many investors. Choosing any of them is still a good decision and feel no regrets. But what really matters is we make an investment in potential altcoins that we know will give us a profit (a big profit is possible) if we wait for the Bullrun. Importantly, we know how to manage investment otherwise, even choosing highly potential coins could make us losses if mismanage.

In fact, investing in the cryptocurrency market is still very risky. We don't know if the project will succeed despite the quality and authenticity of the development team. Therefore, we must invest the amount that we can afford to lose. We have all seen what happened with Project Luna which was a promise but caused a huge loss for investors.

Luna was a rare case. It was because of the failed model of Luna/UST by maintaining the peg 1:1 between a stablecoin, which needs a lot of trust and concrete proof of real money to a crypto that usually exists and is priced on the belief of investors. If you base your investment on the logic "it lost 80% of its value already, can not go lower, buy now" then again we have to use the Luna case here: Luna drop more than 99% of its value from ATH. Many bought in the dip at $1-10 and lost all of their money since it went lower than that.

Seeing Avalanche lose 80+% of its value compare to its all time high looks like a very tempting buying opportunity to me, if you are given the chance to only pick a wallet with 5000 pieces of Cardano or Avalanche which one will you go for and why?.
Perhaps, I will prefer Cardano over Avalanche because I see the potential for Cardano to develop will be better than Avalanche. But if I could choose both, I'd choose Cardano and Avalanche Grin

But what is clear, the two altcoins are not two that have a high potential to increase because there are ethereum and bnb, which are still above the two altcoins. So ethereum and bnb will be my focus on altcoins.
Avalanche is a currency that has lost a lot of liquidity, I don't see how an investment can be made there, you just have to remember what happened to LUNA, it is obvious that now the market is very susceptible and it is incredible, but there are people who have become afraid to invest in altcoins due to their high LUNA drop, they are not all, but I think most have chosen to be involved with BTC, BTC is the only investment that is safe, there is no other that is the same, for me it is the safer and as a second option that I know is safe is ETH.

I'll go with Avalanche, even though I like Cardano but in terms of roadmap delivery, it looks like Avalanche performs better than Cardano.  This is an indicator of possible faster and bigger growth for the Avalanche market.  Cardano somehow has bad records delivering its roadmap since there are moments where they keep on stalling their promised development.

but I think most have chosen to be involved with BTC, BTC is the only investment that is safe, there is no other that is the same, for me it is the safer and as a second option that I know is safe is ETH.

I highly agree with you, investing in BTC and ETH is a no-brainer, but the option given by OP to choose from is just these two projects.

Even between ETH and BTC, I would choose ETH over BTC right now since ETH has the ETH 2.0 milestone in the future to rally and pump accordingly. BTC doesn't have a lot of leg to stretch anymore compare to ETH, at least in short term in my opinion.
