Is it a good time to put some money into eth, or is it falling more?

Ethereum has been the basis of many tokens that have been created.  I think this could be a consideration that Ethereum will still have a bright future.  So I agree with your statement that you want to buy ETH.  But when it comes to when to buy it, I think considering all the risks involved, you can try to invest a little Ethereum for now.

If the bear market hadn't ended soon I thought ethereum could be under $1000 but now it's still more than that. Although ethereum is indeed very good for the future but there is still a chance at a cheap price, maybe we can wait until the price is lower than the current price. But if you're asking if it's time to buy, if you want it long term I don't think there's any harm but just think it could be even cheaper.

We are still in a bear market right now and I haven't actually seen a strong proof that there can be a bullish market in a few months so I assume that eth can still fall. But talking about investing some money in eth, I think we are currently in the right time to invest on eth or any good coins out there while everything is down. It is really hard to wait and invest at the very bottom and no one can really tell what's the possible bottom and when will it happen. So if I were you, I'll take the chance to invest right now even if it is not the very bottom. And if it falls, just keep buying. We all know eth is a great coin and there can be a lot of growth in eth for the next few years so our investment will not get wasted.

We should be quite careful about this though. I mean it is clear to me that if you want to do something, doing it right away is the way to go in crypto because you would be making a good amount of return from it, and you wouldn't wait.

But if you wait, the price could go up and you could miss so much. That is the difference between long term and short term investment as well, the long term people could buy at the current price and could wait until it goes up. Would definitely end up being a lot more valuable. Obviously it is not going to be that simple, of course you are going to need something like stop loss and DCA to help you along the way, but waiting is not the solution.

It is never too late to invest in ETH, in addition to bitcoin, ETH is considered a coin worth long-term investment like bitcoin. The ETH upgrade to POS is scheduled for August of this year, if it goes according to plan then now is the best time to hold ETH as I am pretty sure ETH will increase if the upgrade goes ahead successfully.

Well this is one way of looking at things, I respect the point of view, besides making an investment in ETH I don't see anything bad, however between ETH and BTC I stay with BTC since BTC is the currency that rules, without BTC no there are more altcoins, the ETH with its update I hope it solves many things, among them the scalability problem that is where everyone gets stuck, many who want to develop projects in ERC-20 some run away from the high fees, so it is usually somewhat uncomfortable If the ETH2.0 update solves this, I think we will have a great value ETH in the near future.

I would stay away from investing in ETH knowing the fact that they are yet to fulfill their promises and you never know what happens when they migrate from POW to POS and what bugs are awaiting.

The hype around POS rallied the market because everyone wanted to stake and I am not expecting new investors buying the coin to stake and when it comes to use case the network fees is yet to be sorted.

You say the market is very volatile and can't say what exactly? So what makes you think it's time to speculate. If you are looking for a short-term investment or speculation, this is clearly not a good time to do so. Maybe the market will not have a slight pullback but will continue to fall, you will lose more money. This period is only suitable for those who want to hold for a long time and are willing to hold up to several years.

I can’t say for sure whether the time is right for this or it’s better to wait for a further correction, but if I had free money, I would invest it in ETH. Because ETH price has fallen a lot, which means you can already buy profitably. If, however, the price continues to fall, then for this you can leave part of the funds for the purchase at a lower price.

There are too many people who do not see that coming. Reality is that ETH is a very very good coin, and when the bull time comes the price will be even better. Unfortunately there are way too many people who are afraid of buying ETH right now because they do not know what they are looking at. They see the drop as a scary thing and fear to buy it right now.

Anyone who has been here long enough knows for a fact that it is definitely the best time to buy right now because when the market recovers, that will be your mortgage paid in full. So, making smart decisions during the bear market, will end up with you profiting insanely well during the bull market.

That is one thing one must do, to investigate if what are the future plans of the project before they invest in as that can give them some assurance if what to expect. Not someone that just blindly invest and they end up picking the wrong set of coins. They didn't pick the coins that truly has a potential like eth and bnb. If there's anything bad investing in eth, that is if you use a money that you can't afford to lose.

I know eth is a safe coin but it is better to be more safe than sorry, as you know shit can happen sometimes. Let's just hope the update is still there and it will fix the known issues in eth most especially the problems on expensive gas fees.
