It will bottom at < $100, but only for a millisecond and then shoot right back up. Already, you can see signs of HFT coming, just look at previous bottoms, eventually these "instant dips" will become too fast for ordinary people to get in on.

Not at this point, but it will be coming, true HFT is when the servers can sit in close proximity to the exchange servers, oftentimes in the same datacenter. I am only suggesting that at some point this will become lucrative enough for some well funded investors to co-locate in order to scalp prices.
For now, I have seen some limited amount of this, but it may be the exchanges themselves. Oftentimes the bottom of the wick on charts drops down several tens of dollars before shooting back into the main body of the candle. This time period is so small unless you had a bid loaded with your finger on the button you would miss it, even if you did it would probably not trade at the low.
