We don't know if this is a good idea since we cannot assure that their are something great will happen once they fully launch their new coins since for sure majority of their investors are afraid and worried about what will happen to their old Luna also if they can retrieve back the old value. We can say that investing it is so risky for now but lets give the dev a chance on how he can settle this huge problem occur to them.

If that happens, Terra (LUNA) 1.0 will not be used anymore, the question is, can this restore people's trust in the crypto space? so many people have suffered losses in this coin and ecosystem and it will be difficult to rebuild the trust that has been lost. Nothing happened with the old luna. The holders have choice whether they wanna try to sell their old luna or keep. As far as i know both of blockchains will be co exist but again there's a very big chance for the next luna to be another fail again for sure.

It's not only retail investors who have been loosing the trust but big VCs and various companies have been loosing a lot of money in this garbage coin. Why do they need to bet more on this scam coin if they have another choice to invest in the market that's proven to be even better than luna?

Usually when a crypto project has to make a new token because of changes to the protocol or because there was a mistkae in the old code or a hack appeared or just to relaunch a project like in the case of Luna then usually the "old" tokens just lose all their value basically. I mean they are not dead or something so you can still send those old tokens around and even sell them on exchanges like pancakeswap or something if you find someone that buys it from you by mistake.
I don't really know what to think about the Luna relaunch as i am not following it that closely because i don't own any Luna myself but such a relaunch could be the only hope that is left for Luna holders.. so good luck.

recover investors faith was not easy for Do kwon and team, moreover we know they loss huge money only in few days. Do kwon now known as failed CEO and few investors will support him back. we dont know yet about Luna 2.0 utility so dont put hope here.

Old holders will get some but not all and as far as I know, that airdrop will be locked for two years which I'm not sure if its ok or not.
If you already doubt about LUNA, better not to buy at all or sell your holdings already. Don't stress yourself for a coin like this, its very risky and a lot of opportunity out there where you can have profit without worrying about its update. I started to ignore LUNA, maybe I will comeback after a year and see some of my holdings if its worth it or not.

If they are airdropping with the old LUNA I don't think this is a good idea. The question is, if all LUNA v2 supplies are shared, then in the future what kind of ecosystem will they build in LUNA v2 so that it can be as big as the previous LUNA. Because I think it's impossible to build LUNA v2 with the same ecosystem as before, not only because of its weaknesses, but also very minimal investor confidence.

I'm no longer holder of LUNA sold everything when it was almost on their ATH (got lucky I guess). But in my opinion, whatever plans they have in the future, it will not be enough to bring back the confidence of investors to them. Whatever airdrops or burn strategy or reconstruction plan they have, they will still fall from grace. The most that the investors will do is maybe get half of what they lost and then go on and move to other alt coins and stay away from Luna or from people behind this project.

Bro, your answer is in your statement and it's the truth. Trust rating went in the wind, just like that. But if you are like some investors who want to take the higher risk then go for it, who knows, right? I have been in the crypto industry for a lot of years and I don't see many miracles that do happen. Most of it is just in Bitcoin or in Ethereum but if we are talking about other alts, once they are down they mostly stay there.
Like I said, who knows? There's a big network on the internet now and social media could create a big impact to increase the support of a project that lost its trust. But, I would not expect too much if ever I am in the position of buying it.

The idea that I got from the published proposal they just distributed LUNA V2 coins to people who bought LUNA, was like having snapsot as a replacement for the loss in the old version. But from the proposal I don't see how they explain what their project plan is in LUNA v2. What do you mean old investor? All holder during pre-attack will surely get the benefits on it since they already sold during the attack get some money while there bag will be fully refund even though they are not hodling anymore since the snapshot they are taking is the pre-attck block. This is a total disaster for those who bought on the exchange during the dump because all those Luna classic can’t received airdrop while the project will abandon already so the traders who bought the dip will be holding useless tokens.

I doubt that the fork Luna will gonna have a huge value after the launch.

i entered the luna market when the price dropped by hundreds of thousands of percent. seeing the surprise that came within 24 hours (at that time) I still remember when I invested in Luna $0.000001/token I budgeted $40 and without thinking I bought it in 1 minute instant profit became $60 there I immediately went out. The lesson to be learned, this is crypto can even live when others mourn its fate. because I know the scenario of lesting and delisting in several exchanges. The holders of luna v1 will be received the new luna v2. The old holders will have 2 kinds of luna in their wallet. this is pretty similar like when you are owning the first version of token and you will be airdropped by the new version of token that will come soon.
Luna v2 was a very bad idea and so many critics have come from the various parties like CZ. Im sure that if another bad sentiment will come to the new luna. The market is not feeling so good with this token.

Many investors of luna are not in agreement with the luna v2 proposal, from their on personal opinion the fork will not have any effect on the situation neither will it help those who lost so much money on ust, all they request is a burn.

If you ask me that question my answer will be, "no ,its can't be beneficial and the cause of behind already you told that .They will already loses the trust if they came back with another project I am sure that people will not gonna trust that. Old holders will get some but not all and as far as I know, that airdrop will be locked for two years which I'm not sure if its ok or not.

Even with luna V2, we will never feel instantly from the airdrop, it takes a while to drop it to the holders, so I think by locking it for two years to make it more stable, but I think with that mechanism it will not get better, everything will be the same as luna v1.
I've started to forget everything even though my friends keep suggesting to buy luna because there is potential from the hard fork, but my determination is made up of luna makes me miserable that can't be reversed.

Luna isn't a good project, if you can get out then do it, even if the project switch to version 2.0 it still have same team members, I heard someone from the team even leave the Luna project behind, this is not a good sign.
