VPSs partially restored: wallet and pool aren't available yet as well as main website, but now clients should work.

Any updates on the Website?

Not yet unfortunately, who manages my vps tried to restore it without success. I'm going to reset it completely very soon. Apologise for the inconvenience.

Edit. I meant reset/reinstall totally the website and their Amigacoin clients, not the block-chain. Smiley

liike.website seems to have gone up in smoke, perhaps it's time to crowdfund a Cryptopia listing?

Site is back up but AGA is in "maintenance mode" (according to Google translate).

Yes, there is a small market ( https://liike.website/ ) where aga are supported.

PS. For those who had an account on the old online wallet, send me a PM to have a refund.

Everytime this thread comes up I am reminded of Video Toaster and Lightwave.

Interesting bit of history:

The Video Toaster won the Emmy Award for Technical Achievement in 1993. Other parts of the original software package were spun off as stand-alone products, notably LightWave 3D, and achieved success on their own.

Mining this on any Amiga will be simply impossible. Even the PowerPC ones have too little power. Looks like a scam.

Well, you have to set up a PowerPC mining cluster then or something. Mining on Amiga is probably not impossible, just impractical  Grin

Status of this coin, current nodes:
Code:
addnode=162.243.134.24:22112
addnode=98.115.147.74:22112
addnode=80.241.218.56:22112
addnode=149.210.128.213:22112

AGA and a few other coins was dropped from the BTC market at Cryptopia for having "sub satoshi markets". You can still buy/sell it for LTC though, and probably some other options that I haven't checked.

Amigacoin seems a good concept and I think there is likely to be a demand for something like it in future. The "retro" computer scene has never been more alive, with new Amiga hardware projects surfacing all the time ... and also with ongoing OS projects like MorphOS and AROS that will likely continue onto new generations of cheap ARM based hardware. I think it will make a lot of sense for the Amiga community to have its own coin/token and and more so as crypto becomes increasingly mainstream.

Are there any plans for future development? The website is down Sad

I have messaged the developer but not received a response as yet.
